Great! Stumbled upon this store accidentally. I was excited that it was an Ethiopian food carry out. They do have a few tables to dine in. I am American however I love spicy food. I ordered the vegetable combination platter and the beef combination platter. (Forgot the names but I believe the vegetable platter had the wats and the beef platter included tibs. The portions are huge and you really get your money’s worth. And the food is absolutely delicious! The beef had absolutely no fat or gristle it was very soft. The vegetables-which included yellow split peas, cabbage and others were very complex and just as delicious. The injera bread is to die for. I just found out the injera bread is homemade and everything is organic and non gmo. This is very important to me as I am a cancer survivor and do not want my food to have toxins. I understand it is very popular with the Ethiopians which is a great sign of a good restaurant. Our 2 combo platters gave us dinner for 3 different days and they were large portions! I traveled all the way from Hagerstown to try this Ethiopian Restaurant and it was worth every drop of gas. It's part restaurant, part grocery store. The inside is clean and quiet. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered 2 meat dishes and 1 vegetarian. All 3 dishes were flavorful and the portions were more than enough for 3 people. The prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants where portions were very small with astronomical prices. Hopefully, the owner will be able to expand and open a restaurant closer to me. I have enjoyed seeing this place growing from a much neede Ethiopian store in the Gaithersburg area, to a authentic Ethiopian restaurant. I have enjoy both take out meals and dinned in a wonderful decorated with beautiful Ethiopian paintings in there cozy space , The menu has one of the best Ethiopian meals I have ever enjoyed. They have a varity of things in the store section. Ranging from Ethiopian clothing, spices, Ethiopian bread, organic honey and so much more. Amazing customer service. Its been wonderful to have a store with such diverse and unique items.Always glad to Support...
