First of all, I am not sure how they earned that much stars. Well, I am just going to share how badly me and my friend were treated there. When we go somewhere to eat or to any restaurants, I believe everting counts from welcoming customers . When we went there there was no smiley face or any greetings. Ok that's fine, after that someone from customer table who was talking with someone stood up came to cashier to take our order. He seemed very disturbed taking my order and the head piece was still on his ear. Fine, its ok too whatever he behaved. We sat down on the table, and the cashier said we have to get our own plates from the counter. Fine, got it. I was trying to avoid his attitude and was waiting for the food. Food came okay. While we were eating no one came to ask how we are doing with the food. Fine, its ok whatever it was. In the mean time my friend ordered hot chai and asked to serve the chai after dinner. The food came and the chai came right after, we were not even half way with our food. However, we had to finish chai and food all together.
Here is the worst part, we were done eating, now ready to go. We were leaving the place and the cashier guy who was sitting with other stuff on the table laughing and talking, came to us and mentioned that we had to trash the food in the trash. The way he said, I can not even explain, so unprofessional. We did accordingly the guy said and left the place.
This writing is to owner, we understand to run a restaurant is not that easy. But we are your customer, we expect you will treat us good. If we need to trash our food that is fine, but why are you then using ceramic plates instead of one time plates, Sir.
Do you think it was fine the way your cashier treated us?
I usually do not write reviews and if I do I prefer to write good reviews. But, the experience at your place was awful. We could forget everything from the beginning but the last occurrence where we had to dump our trash where your stuff were laughing and having fun on the customer table, has crossed the limit.
We left, and I said I am never ever going to that place. Educate your stuff to be professional.
At this time no...

Reviewed as on : 20 Oct'23 after multiple visits over few months (hope the quality stays the same going fwd)
TRIVIA : Another amazing spot serving extremely flavorful roti sabzi (bread & curry) in the NOVA area. Out of all the states i have been to, i never expected i would find 2 great Indian cuisine spots back to back, in nova. Completely unexpected. A 45 min drive for from my place, and still felt worth it every time. Run by a DELHI based couple, with an extremely strong background in restaurant business, one of them having been chef at some of the most popular restaurants in dmv area in past. This place is worth driving far to. Orders come in from as far as NewYork.
PLACE : urban, shopping center, accessible, busy intersection, lots of parking.
CUISINE : DELHI PROPER, NORTH INDIAN
FOOD : Non Americanized & Served piping hot every single time, as if made live from scratch. (you know its made fresh when the food is piping hot even after 45 mins of being served). High Quality, Excellent Quantity, OK prices. Curries are extremely bold in flavour and yet well balanced. Proteins (meat and paneer) are amazingly tender.
-- Must Try : My personal recommendations :
Dal Makhani ( SUPER HIGHLIGHT ) Haleem ( SUPER HIGHLIGHT ) Galouti Kebab ( SUPER HIGHLIGHT ) Biryani Badami Qorma Nihari Paneer curries/variants Plain Sweet Lassi
AMBIENCE and STAFF : Ambience is buzzy and Diner like. Service is EXCELLENT. Priyansh is great at service and customer interaction. Staff is very friendly, quick, attentive and caring. The couple is very hospitable. Kitchen is...
Read moreWe recently visited Mia G kebab and romali roti in Gaithersburg , and we opted for their buffet, thinking it would be the best way to sample a variety of dishes before ordering individual portions in the future Unfortunately, this turned out to be a big mistake. Almost all the food was cold, except for the. Pakoras, Which were mildly warm. The tandoori chicken was dry, hard and lacked flavor. The daal, muttar paneer, and other dishes were similarly cold and tasteless. While the wings and malai boti had decent flavor, They were also cold. The biryani was OK but again not warm. The dessert was particularly disappointing, and the only item that somewhat worked was that the Dahi bhalla - Because it is meant to be served cold anyway. Customer service was equally disappointing. I politely requested the staff at the front to warm my plate or the food, As the buffet dishes were clearly not warm. Their response was “the burners were on, and that the food was warm.”- Which it definitely wasn’t. When I asked if they could warm my plate in the microwave, she said she would check, but never followed up or returned. The owner, who overheard the conversation also showed no interest in resolving the issue. We stayed for about 1.5 hours, hoping they would refresh the buffet with hot food. The only refill we saw was a tiny serving dish with a couple of tablespoons of biryani, which was disappointing for a buffet setting. In addition to the food and service, the constant loud banging of utensils from the kitchen made the dining experience unpleasant. The noise continued throughout our visit and added to the overall discomfort. In short buffet was a big letdown, poor customer service, unpleasant atmosphere. I have heard that the à la carte menu might offer better quality, perhaps ordering individual dishes might be a better experience. But based on the buffet and overall visit, this is not a place I would return to or recommend...
