The inside smelled like feet or body odor when I walked in. I didn't say anything to my husband about it, and after we were given our drinks, he wlalked alll around to see if there was a place that didn't smell bad; he told me what he had done and that he thought it smelled bad, like dirty feet or somebody needing a bath, after we sat down. The staff was more interested in texting & talking to a group of teenagers than they were waiting on customers. My husband and I ordered about 10 min prior to the 5 teenagers, yet, they all received their food a good while before us. I had ordered a Big hot ham & cheese. It had a big bun, 3 very small pieces of ham, and you could barely tell there was any cheese on it. I looked at my receipt to make sure I had been charged for a Big Hot Ham & Cheese, & I walked back up to the counter with it. The female, who originally waited on us was waiting on someone else. I patiently waited. When she was finished, I nicely asked if I had been given a big or regular sandwich. She was snappy & said " a Big One"! I opened the sandwich &said it it only supposed to have 3 pieces of ham & only a tiny amt of cheese? She picked it up, & threw it on the shelf behind her where sandwiches are normally placed by those preparing sandwiches, & said " I need another Big Hot Ham & Cheese, Looked at me, & said, I'll bring it to you. She turned around & walked off. She was not at all nice. There was not one napkin anywhere, not on the tables in the napkin holders, on anytablr, or on the supply place where you get straws, lids, etc, and they didn't give any to you when they finally brought our food. We Were there T least 40 & possibly 50 min before we got our food. We won't be...
Read moreOkay, I’m completely appalled by this place. Today; I walked in, and as usual; had to wait in line for 30 minutes because the girl running front line was too focused on some older lass asking for Sweet N’ Sour. Well, alas; Drive-Thru was waiting at least 13-23 minutes for their food. Front line was absolutely disgusting, as well as the rest of the store. There was sauce packets everywhere, nothing was stocked, and worst of all; the manager and the other mainline worker was NOT wearing gloves. The drink machine was broken, throwing ice everywhere. There was spilled drinks all over the line, nothing was stocked, NONE of the tables were clean. And there was ketchup everywhere. The floor and tables were sticky; and the only person I even caught wearing gloves was the dude taking out the trash. Upon getting my food; their grease probably wasn’t and hasn’t been changed in over a week or more. The biscuit: which was a #9, the egg was still raw in the middle. And neither was the biscuit upToPar. It was terrible. No one was paying attention to lobby or drive-Thru. Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had in a fast food location, actually. It is the worst: and that says a lot since the McDonalds in Galax isn’t any better if not a little worse. Eat here at your own risk, if anything: go to Hillsville. We did inform the manager about not wearing gloves, since it IS A HEALTH CODE VIOLATION; and went back inside a few later, finding they continued to not wear gloves. This location needs to be audited and re-examined, because with all of mine and my buddy’s experience in the food and ServSafe experiance; this store wouldn’t be able to ever open their doors again. I get sick EVERYTIME I eat at this location. It...
Read moreI know fast food is fast food- but with that being said, I didn't even have anything edible here. I went inside first and ordered a burger. Got it to go then needed to get something for someone else so went through the drive through. The wait inside for the burger was really long. There appeared to only be two women working, and they were doing their best, so that wasn't a problem. The burger did sit on the counter forever before fries were done. Got the burger then ordered from drive through . Three cars ahead of me, two behind me. I was told to pull up to wait. Took a bite of the burger and it was cold. Also it was a weird flat, dry, gray patty - not what I got at a Hardee's last time I went. After a while she came out and gave me a partially melted shake and said "I'm sorry for your wait, thanks!" But I didnt get the food. I waited a few minutes where I was before parking and going inside to ask. I had paid for 5 chicken fingers. When I asked about the chicken the lady said "oh! It was three tenders, right?" I told her no it was 5. She said she was sure it was three and handed me a bag, thanked me and wished me a good day. At that point I just took the bag. The chicken didn't appear greasy, and was still very slightly warm. But it tasted of that acrid, bitter taste of old oil. We wouldn't have eaten five if we had had them. So, cold burger, inedible chicken tenders and the shake was just okay. The coke was good. The ladies were friendly but seemed a little lost. Don't live super close but definitely won't...
