When someone does something out of the kindness of their heart, I immediately think of and do 3 things.. How can I repay them? I say a prayer for them that good karma comes their way, and I take that positive exchange of energy they offered me, and try to offer the same with whatever I have, or whatever I can say or do for someone else. Today I just needed 1 slice of pizza while traveling / transporting food deliveries for DoorDash in the south New Jersey area.
I only have $16 I just cashed out to my DoorDash debit card, but their minimum for card swipe here is $10. The very kind girl at the counter told me not to worry about it, and handed my card back. I’ll make sure to grab cash at the Wawa atm up the road and head back over here at some point before they close to pay for another slice, and to offer a tip as well.
This small, but incredibly kind gesture, inspired me and filled me with joy more than any amount of money or food ever could. For that reason alone, I can confidently write a 5 star review for a restaurant I was able to walk in to and be treated like any other loving, caring family member. Thank you! I’ll be back. You have many blessings coming your way. I wish you peace, love, happiness, and continued success...
Read moreDo not waste your time or money my friends! I don't like to hurt a business because I know how much it means for people to make a living! But on the other hand if an owner of a restaurant knows that their food is horrible then try to make a change; get a cook that actually KNOWS how to COOK, if you have "Italian" cuisine maybe there's a need for a person that knows HOW TO MAKE ITALIAN CUISINE!! I recently ordered an Italian cheese stake sub!! It looked like chopped meat just thrown into a week old torpedo roll and it wasn't even toasted! The fries were ok, but they were a bit soggy.. I was hungry, it was disappointing and a waste of money! All I'm saying is that if you want to keep a business going kick your game up!! Redo the look of your little restaurant! Paint it a tasteful color that catches the eye of the public but doesn't look cheap!! The interior needs a little redo also, but feels a bit cozy and comfortable. With a little work they'd have some $$ coming...
Read moreWhen I first moved in to my home, this place became our go-to spot to order our dinners from for a while. Every time I ordered I was able to use a card. About a month ago, they changed their policy. Deliveries are CASH ONLY now. I'm assuming I just spoke with the owner who said it's always been this way and they can't do it over the phone because it takes too long to process and they only have one phone line so other customers won't be able to get through. Whatever their reason, I'm done ordering from them as it's a huge inconvenience that they will take my card over the phone and then decide next time I call not to. If I'm being honest, Gennaro's down the street is better quality but a little more expensive...
