I recently stopped by this restaurant for lunch and ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap, which was served cut in half. After eating the first half, I noticed a red hair on the second half of my wrap. To confirm what I was seeing, I showed it to my coworker, and we both agreed that it was indeed a hair. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture, as I felt a bit disgusted knowing I had already eaten the other half. I approached the counter where orders were placed and saw three employees—one was cleaning while the other two were chatting. An older lady glanced at a worker named Justice (I got her name during the interaction), and I informed them about the hair in my food. Their reaction was disappointing; they looked at me as if they were annoyed by my complaint, without offering an apology or any acknowledgment. I asked if they could remake my wrap and make it to-go since I needed to return to work. I returned my tray, which still had some chips on it, and Justice said she would prepare a new wrap. A few minutes later, she handed me the replacement—just the wrap itself. In other restaurants, the entire meal would typically be replaced. I’ve never had an experience where a server failed to apologize or showed such an indifferent attitude toward a serious issue like finding hair in my food. I debated whether to write a review but initially thought it wouldn’t change anything. However, after opening the container of the replacement wrap, I realized it was mostly just lettuce. I keep returning to this establishment, hoping for a better experience, but it...
Read moreI have to give this Camille's the credit that they deserve. I am from Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Camille's is based, and there is no Camille's left in Tulsa. The last one closed 6 months ago. Camille's was always one of my favorite restaurants. Very simple, relaxed concept, but boy, the food was always consistently awesome. The smoothies were and still are the best I've ever had. The fact that this Camille's is still in business and doing well considering it's one of the last of it's kind in America is amazing. My family was traveling back home from vacation, and we were about 20 minutes away from Gallup when I found this Camille's online. I was so excited until I forgot about the time zone change from Arizona to New Mexico. We arrived in Gallup 5 minutes after closing time. Regardless, I hope that this Camille's enjoys a great future of success, and I'm bummed I missed it, but the next time I come to Gallup,...
Read morePatrick Miller, a server and NMSU grad, was very rude to me on one of my many, many visits. Camille's was once my favorite place to go, but after the incident with Patrick Miller, I decided it had come time to stop. He rudely yelled at me for calling him over to open the bathroom using the buzzer. The buzzer is located behind the counter. I had a restroom emergency and had to wait for him to buzz me in. Because there was a loud din of machinery, like the blenders and fans, etc. I had to raise my voice a little. He took offense to this and lost his temper. I was offended and reported him to his manager on duty, a young Navajo woman. This place isn't as kind to Native people as I thought. My feelings were hurt and I very nearly cried. Just so you know, Patrick, I went to NMSU too. If you're in business, you have low quality customer service skills. I don't come...
