Tequileros Taqueria — Restaurant in Galt

Ok so i first heard this place was great. Tried it 3 times and every time i was dissapointed in the tacos. I stopped going here. I started going to their elk grove location cause it was the best ive had ever. So recently my wife said she saw some reviews stating that its been getting better here. I gave them one more chance and they completely redeemed themselves! Now if they stay like this I will continue going here! No more tacos romero. They knocked it out of the park with these asada and shrimp tacos! Update... they continue to turn out great food! 2 times now and tacos were perfect again. Then today I picked up 2 shrimp super burritos with extra shrimp mild and damn!!! It's also excellent! And huge! Anyway keep it up. My new favorite place hands down.

Edit .... all you 1 star reviewers need to find something else to complain about. This place turns out great food with great service every time! ...... Heres One more 5 star rating on the food and service from me. I am now a regular here and they know me by name! The quesabirria tacos with either shrimp or beef are amazing. Brought a tear to my eye it was so good! Haha I would have taken a picture but I was too busy stuffing my face! The staff go above and beyond. Always friendly!

When I First walked in I was intrigued by the Modern Design for such a Taqueria it was refreshing to see such a new take.

I looked over the menu and the nicest girl behind the counter by the name of Baleria helped me and explained all their items and took her gracious time to explain the whole menu in full detail.

I opted for the 3 cheese Jalapeños (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) Sooooo goood!!! 💯

And then 3 of the Taco Tequilero’s which are street tacos with their own secret sauce. Also Highly recommended!!!

When I received the food I noticed they had only put 2 of the 3 tacos in I brought it to the counter to which Emily apologized sincerely for the mistake and happily made me the 3rd one on the house!

I was originally only charged for 2 as it was partially my fault and asked if I should get 3 and she thought I was referring to the cheese jalapeños to which I had already ordered 3.

This place is STELLAR stop and get some food here you won’t regret...

First off food was great. Everything we got was delicious! So delicious we got it again the next day! Second The restaurant was so clean. I love a restaurant that shows what they are doing in the kitchen. Third and most impressive!!! The service!!!!! Greeted as soon as you walked in!! In this day and age that is appreciated! Story time! Ordered food for pick up but I wasn’t able to pick it up until an hour later. They insisted that we not take the food that had been sitting there and wait for them to remake our food so it would be fresh! Then when my husband said her would pay again they refused to let him pay!!!! Stand out service! I would have come back and I did return for the food and service received already but they really went above and beyond! We will be going there...
