Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Galveston

We had ordered drinks thru the app. We checked in when we arrived. After about 10 minutes, the sign that had said our order was on the way changed and said thank you (like we had gotten our order which we had not gotten). We sat there another few minutes wondering what the deal was but thinking maybe they were on their way out with our drinks but after a while it became obvious that was not the case as they delivered food, drinks and desserts to several cars that arrived after us. We activated the red button to ask about the status of our 2 drinks. The guy who answered said that only the drive thru was open as we sat and watched them steadily delivering orders to stalls around us. We asked if we needed to go to the drive thru window to get our drinks. He finally said we just were gonna have to wait and someone would bring them in a little while. We had no choice except to stay and wait since we had already paid when we ordered thru the app. Eventually a girl delivered our drinks when she came out to deliver a large food order to a car beside us that had only arrived a few minutes before. She seemed pretty friendly but unfortunately she did not get a tip from us because we were too aggravated about how we were treated so far. This is the first time I can think of that my sister has not tipped a server at Sonic. If you knew my sister you would understand how terrible the experience was to justify not tipping. A few weeks ago I walked up to Sonic to pick up my online order. I ordered a chilli cheese footlong with a peach tea and a Sonic cheese burger with a root beer. Not only did I wait for over 45 minutes for my order to finally come out but when I got home there wasn't any chilli on my footlong nor did I get my peach tea. If I hadn't been so upset from waiting for 45 minutes and no it was not busy. There was maybe 3 or 4 cars there. I probably would have realized the missing chilli and my peach tea. So, not only did I have to walk back up there but I they tell me they're out of chilli. So you guys just put cheeses on it and just neglected to tell a paying customer that also tipped the car hop $10 earlier that there's no chilli so you just give it to them and not say anything? Wow, after spending over a hour and a half waiting on my online order I get home and my food is cold.At this point I'm furious but I don't say anything I just let it slide.Well tonight I go up there about 9:54pm and the lady answered my call and yelled at me that they are closed. Well Sonic just updated they're hours of operation just a week ago that they close at 11pm, not 9:54pm. The lady refused to take my order and yelled at me again. Just to keep an argument from happening I said ok and went home. I'm from Galveston and I am ashamed of Sonics employee's that I probably won't ever eat at that Sonic again. The people there are inconsiderate, rude, and disrespectful. They seriously need to work on their work ethics...

Sorry to say but this Sonic Sucks!!!! And I'm so surprised because every other fast food place ive been to in league city especially in this area, I've experienced great service and good food. Last time my food was nowhere near how it was supposed to be. Sloppy, and burnt. And service was a let down as well. SO!!! We thought we would just go there for a cake batter shake that was promoted on TV for 1/2 price! Got there pushed the service button to order, no answer. Waited!!!! Pushed again, no answer!!!!! After 10 min of pushing and waiting some decided it was time for us to order. We asked for shakes!!! NOPE!! SHAKE MACHINE WAS DOWN!! Then they said they could make the shakes only they would ve blasted!!! That means frozen almost solid so we couldn't eat them right away. LOL!!!!! So we said what the he'll, and said ok. After waiting 30 min we got our shakes. And what do you know they gave us Snicker shakes instead of the cake batter shakes we asked for. And two were the wrong size. I was done!!!!
