I am being generous with my stars due to the owner; he is very personable, making his way around tables talking with people with a cheerful presence. There are about 20 tvs and he makes sure everyone has a tv tuned into the sport and team of their interest.
Our experience: We sat at a table and waited for a few minutes. A woman approached and offered us menus, but she was not our waiter so no drinks were offered. Several minutes later she came back to check if we had been waited on then reminded the waitress of us. A few more minutes later one of the two waitresses finally came and took our order. (for perspective there were 12 tables with 2 waiters)
I ordered a Blue Moon beer with an orange slice; the waitress brought a bottle of beer with a small chunk of orange stuck on top as one would serve a Corona. I am baffled that a bartender would serve it that way and a waiter who doesn't correct it. I ordered the glass separately.
I asked the waitress' opinion on the best way to order their fish sandwich. She said she felt the fried regular coating was better than the beer battered. My husband ordered beer battered. I took her recommendation. I was wrong to take her recommendation. The beer battered, my husband received, was far more superior all around.
We opted to substitute onion rings for the fries and the rings were delicious.
Someone from the kitchen brought our food out when it was ready. We had to wave our waitress down to get the hot sauce we originally ordered, ketchup - for the onion rings - and remind her to give us napkins too. no silverware was brought, but we were basically eating finger food anyway.
It was raining hard, outside, causing the tvs to lose signal. The owner played juke box music and got people singing along to his selection.
We waited 15 minutes, and when the service didn't restore we decided to leave (our main purpose, there, was to watch a specific football game)
We flagged the waitress down to ask for our bill; she brought it to us 10 minutes later.
Moral of the story - the food was decent and the owner tries to keep an upbeat atmosphere. Do not expect even average service. The waitress was pleasant, however she never checked back with us and needed flagged down for everything including drink refills.
I'm a big believer in 2nd chances, so we will probably go back at some point. Perhaps the owner will put some of that positive energy into training his...

I visited Acme this past weekend with my family and new friends, who introduced us to Acme.
We attended brunch and let's just say it was the BEST TASTING, most EYE-CATCHING, DELICIOUS and most importantly BEST PRICES/PRICE, I've EVER SEEN offered ANYWHERE before!
I ordered a plate with French toast, eggs, sausage, bacon and home style potatoes for only $6! (These were NOT skimpy portions!)
I then ordered a virgin bloody mary which came with a skewer lined with a jumbo shrimp, a toasted ravioli, a fresh made pretzel, a chicken slider, a chicken wing, salami, provolone, olives, pickle and a pot sticker, ALL for ONLY $5!🤯
I use to live in NY state and the bloody mary itself would have been over$10!!!
Bottom line, if you're looking for the next great Diner, Drive in or Dive, this is the place...
