I read about this roadside seafood shop. I read the reviews and decided we're going to stop here and get some of the crab cakes that people were talking about. The friendly people who came in lots of selection. Everything looked fresh. We talked about the local shrimp and we decided just to get the crab cakes. The young lady is talked about the recipes that we should use to cook them and they told us that she had personally made them earlier that day so they were definitely fresh. So unlike some other review here, we really enjoyed our visit. Talking to the staff getting some pointers on cooking. It's great visit. Another note I got home. We cooked the crab cakes and I'll attach a picture how good they looked which doesn't even compare to how great they tasted. We really enjoyed them. If you don't stop here and buy something you are missing out on some...
Read moreAfter several other calls to seafood shops right in the area. I was calling about cost for some oysters. On shop quoted me a box but could not tell me approximately how many were in the box. The other shop said $2 each. Come on man. I wanted a half bushel. I never called Seven Seas. I have been there several times and just drive over. We arrive and are greeted with smiles and how can we help you. We bought the oysters and yes a good price, some shrimp and a few other things. Don’t be afraid to ask a question. They will tell you straight up. One of the competitors is across the street. Their parking lot was empty. Not Seven Seas. A lot of customers and quick service even with limited customers allowed in. Thanks guys and gals. I’ll see...
Read moreWe stopped into Seven Seas Seafood Market for the first time yesterday and we're very pleased. The staff was friendly, helpful and polite. They had a smaller selection of fresh fish than other stores, but they had the best scallops and grouper cheeks by far. This is now one of our regular stops for fresh seafood. I prepared the scallops by searing them lightly and serving them with a brown butter, shallot, EVOO, S&P, balsamic vinegar sauce. The grouper cheeks were breaded and pan fried, served with homemade pickled okra tartar sauce with a side of risotto. Yummy. We have been back multiple times and are always treated very well and their fish is just amazing. Check them out! I would recommend this fish market to...
