Was next door at George’s and decided to get a cup of Joe at Blue Sky. As a celiac I don’t expect anything gluten free at a bagelry…it’s not their thing. I will say the bagels looked great and if I could have gluten, I’d be all over this place. Our lattes were well made, tasty, and the right temperature. And, I didn’t leave empty handed…their flavored cream cheeses are gluten free. So I picked up a container to have at home with my gf bagels. One of their seating areas looked perfect for a group meeting be it business offsite or book clubs. I’m a fan of bikes too and nice to have those decorations with George’s next door. Happy to support local.

A great place with friendly staff and prompt service. Nice place to hit off of State St. We enjoyed our very fresh bagel sandwiches and will definitely be returning for more nutritious goods.

Decent bagel place with a good basic selection. Get there early for best selection. Bagels are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Coffee is self service from carafes.

Have been to Blue Sky many times and the last few times I could tell the food and service wasn't as good. However this time was the worst I've had. I ordered a baker's dozen of assorted bagels, teo tubs of cream cheese, and a breakfast bagel. After much back and forth, my breakfast bagel was made correctly, however, for the baker's dozen, the employee helping me came over to clarify if I wanted them sliced--I very clearly said no. Yet I received them sliced anyway. I mentioned to the cashier that I didn't want them sliced because they weren't going to be eaten today and will dry out. Instead of giving me the non-sliced I ordered, she suggested I put them in a Ziploc bag or freeze them. They still had loads of bagels left, so it isn't like they didn't have non sliced. I was going to let it go, but when I got to my destination I found out that on top of all of that, they also shorted me a bagel (a baker's dozen is 13, yet I only received 12).

Side note, they can't figure out how to give receipts here either. I paid cash then asked for a receipt a moment later and they said "they had no record of my transaction", but it was little 30 seconds before?

Unfortunately, this was the final straw for me after a string of unimpressive visits to Blue Sky over the past year and I won't...

Poor and disingenuous service. When asked if they had caffeine free tea, the response was no. I thought they may have some so I rephrased it into an "herbal tea, that's caffeine free" and asked if she knew that. The manager responded ," we are not baristas". I said it's fairly common knowledge and that she learned something today. Her energy and attitude was fake and condescending and ingratiating. In addition, I asked for a toasted bagel with tuna. Was cold and tuna was overly dry and all this for 11 bucks. Not sure why she didn't just say, oh, I didn't know that. She was ready to let me leave without knowing that her teas were not that sophisticated. Although she was and there's nothing more annoying than an introverted empath picking up on inauthenticity and apathy. What a terrible experience. She should be working in a locked office in the dungeon where she doesn't have to engage anyone but Spot from...

This location used to be great. I used to love blue sky, I’d buy bagel sandwiches every other week along with dozens of bagels and cream cheese. Staff were always warm and welcoming, seeming to enjoy their time there and speaking with customers. Now the staff there is very cold, no greetings every time I go in there literal cricket sounds..every time I order it’s always the same brunette girl with a bunch of jewelry on who gives me a hard time with my order (really a very simple order it’s one filet sandwich + veggies) seems annoyed about everything and disgruntled. Not even bare minimum customer service just ā€œwhat do you wantā€ with glares and ā€œok pay down thereā€ if it were busy sure I’d understand a little bit, but it was empty in there every time I’ve gone in. They need to hire better employees that are actually kind and willing to work a customer service job. In the meantime I’ll be finding a new...
