River City Coffee & Cafe — Restaurant in Garden City

There's this older woman that works there that may have gotten me sick..not quite sure. She was rather grumpy and cooking the food and coughed all over my egg breakfast sandwich..didn't really wanna eat it at that point but didnt want to be rude/I was starving and had already paid.

Another time I went and I ordered an egg sandwich on a plain bagel..i paid. 15 minutes later was told they didnt have any plain bagels and only had onion bagels....did I mention that I HATE ONIONS? So I had to get toast instead..and the sandwich was kind of cold at that point.

I mean...it's inexpensive so that's kind of cool but why go to River City...as they say in texas..go big or go home. I'd rather go to Big City where the meals are big and the service is bigger; that...

The staff at this coffee house are amazing they cater to your needs. If you like biscuits and gravy the waitress told me that the biscuits and gravy are very similar to express Cafe in Meridian I know that I'm a bacon and biscuits and gravy connoisseur and I am definitely going to try their biscuits and gravy next Wednesday what a wonderful environment to have a group meeting a morning meeting with a friend or taking a client out for coffee and bagels this place drives well the energy is supreme I wish that anybody would try this place at least once and they will be more than happy I don't understand why there is any negative reviews but this...

I love this place, in fact, I recommend it to everyone I know who enjoys a good cup of coffee or tea. The selection of drinks is comparable to almost any coffee shop, but with much higher expectations for the quality and making of the drinks. I have yet to try a meal, but my friends say it's a great place to eat. I do know that their pastries are made fresh everyday and everything is safe and homey. I love sitting, enjoying conversations and connections with the staff and reading the good bits of the morning paper. Very affordable if you're an everyday coffee person and such a fun place to be.
