Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Garden City

Editing my stars because the owner really seems great, and like she really cares about her business. I stand by my precious experiences, but she really is wonderful.

Edit #2 - second time here, second time being disappointed. No one's spit got on my food this time (as far as I saw) but employees were super rude (like last time), employees were throwing food at eachother, and they didn't have the ingredients for the blizzard I wanted (and for some reason were, again, very rude thay I asked for an advertised blizzard). There's plenty of ice cream places, don't waste your time at this location.

The manager handled this situation so well and was so polite; has restored my hope in this location. Changed from a one star to a four.

Been going here since 1996 😆😅🤣😂🙃🫣🤔🤐🙄😬 was 6 years old rollerblading about 3/4s of a mile with my dog that would pull me up there and we bout would get something and go home... im 35 now and now my wife sends me still with my dogs to go get ice cream 🍦😋 except i drive im too old for that ish now lmao.. always been a great place never had a problem.. one thing that does suck is if you pay card you can't tip.. so if you want to tip them bring cash.. they are high-school age kids usually 98% of thw time working a summer job.. they dont make much so tips end up being shared by 4 or 5 employees for 1 tip jar.. and not being able to tip with card im sure is hurting their tips they could be making .. im sure they made alot more years ago when cards weren't as popular as now 🙄 🤔 god im getting old... bring cash they deserve it.. some saving for cars or college to better their lives!!!...

By far my favorite DQ in the area! The staff is always helpful and kind. The owner is often there working as well. Potions are generous, and special requests are always received with a smile (Peanut Buster Parfait with caramel for the center layer - perfection!). No hot food, but a full ice cream menu. Items look just like the photos! I drive out of my way for this location regularly. It is SO worth it for service standards alone, and the ice cream quality never...
