We did a carry out with 2 orders of Sweet and Sour Chicken combinations dinners. Ask 3 times to make sure chicken was not over cooked and the coating was not burnt or to hard. My sister has a hard time swallowing. We get home and the sweet and sour chicken was so tough and the breading very over cooked. Some were even hard to cut with a knife and fork. I called the restaurant and the lady who took our carry out order answered. I ask her to speak to a manager and she said very busy and hung up on me. I called back after 9 pm and spoke with the owner. He was not understanding what I was telling him and he also told me that the lady I talked to on the phone said she said goodbye and did not hang up on me. That is such a lie. That is one of the reasons I am also upset. The owner finally said don't eat and bring it back tomorrow. My husband said it's not worth it and that we will just not go there again. They are very hard to communicate with. If you want a really good Chinese restaurant try China Star Palace on Wayne road or Ten Yen restaurant on Wayne Rd. I never have had a rude person at either of those...
Read moreWe tried this place based on some good reviews that had on Google. When we pulled up into the parking lot we thought we were at a doctor's office the building is not a conventional looking restaurant. We walked in and there was no one to welcome us we had to eventually ring a bell after standing there for a minute Or 2 and still no one came to seat us finally a man was trying to pay and he rang the bell again and a lady who barely spoke English came out of the back to collect his money. The bus boy must have called in sick that day because there were about 6 tables with dirty dishes all over them. The lady who sat us down also took our order and it was extremely difficult to understand as she did not speak a lick of English. I ordered the general's chicken as did my girlfriend. The food is absolutely phenomenal. The service sucked the place was not tidy but they totally redeem themself when they put food on the table in front of you it looked and tasted absolutely phenomenal. My egg drop soup was also phenomenal. If they hire an English-speaking host and a busboy they will be the best Asian ...
Read moreWe recently discovered this Chinese restaurant and I've been here 3 times in the last 3 weeks; once on Wednesday at noon, and then a Friday night and a Saturday night. We have been very impressed with the quality of the food and the wonderful flavors. This is not your run of the mill Chinese restaurant. They have most traditional Chinese dishes but the execution is just a little different. For example, most wonton soup is chicken broth with a couple of dumplings; their wonton is also packed with lots of vegetables. And the fried rice is chuck full of pork and vegetables. This past Saturday there were 6 of us and we ordered the dinner for 5, we had more then enough food, and everyone was raving about the quality, taste and presentation of the food. We are glad we stumbled into this place, we would recommend it, and we will be back. The prices are reasonable, the staff is very friendly, and the food always...
