Well I've went here 3 different times and ordered the same thing each time before writing the final rewiew. First time was flawless had an older lady there made my Kong sized oreo flurry perfectly 5 stars.. 2 weeks later went back ordered the same thing. There was a young kid working. I was the only guy there at 8ish pm took him all day to make this thought maybe due to the morbidly obese size of said flurry it takes longer. No he had his girl friend back there with him and they were clowning around with their phones or something.. Flurry was sub par barely blended all ice cream on top but a huge amount of oreo on the bottom so i let it slide. 3 stars. Now my most recent experience was just last week when it was -20ish outside. Ordered Kong oreo flurry from different yet again young kid. This time made very quickly however the flurry reflected it barely mixed all ice cream on top but mammoth amount of oreos at the bottom. 4 stars. But where else can you get a lamp shade sized flurry made flawlessly and consistently every time. So i go here. P.S. its about 8 bucks for the item...
Read moreI came to this location not too long ago as it surprised me it was still open in December, the ice cream was great, and I had a good experience with the food. However, the employee seemed like they were having a bad day and I felt kind of attack when I requested a little more extra on our ice cream which we paid extra for, the employee seemed to be mad they had to do extra work, but honestly, I remember it was getting dark, and I'm sure they had a long day which is why I still rated it 5 stars. I try to support small businesses but every time I come here I tend to run into bad employees, not to say every employee is like that at this location, however, maybe it's just my bad luck. I still recommend the Dairy Queen in Westland next to the Kroger as I enjoy how there is a sit-in area with amazing deals (For example on Tuesday they have two medium dipped chocolate cones for $4 which is nice) But like I said this place does serve great ice-cream I just wish the employees were more blissful to how...
Read moreWould rate higher but didn't get served. Rode bikes over a mile to our NEIGHBORHOOD ice cream shop. 6:00 on a Sat. & zero cars in line. Pulled up to window, "sorry, we can't take your order on a bike". Reply "are you serious? There's not a single car in front or behind us so I don't understand any safety issues. You seriously can't serve my kid a flurry?". Asked for business details & the "manager" resorted to asking 3 others "kids" for help. The drive thru was suppose to help build business when Mike went to the city several years ago asking for permission. Welp, all that did was drive away customers & for our family... customers for life. VERY disappointed & as a resident I can only imagine how many others have been shut out. Will not be back & will happily...
