This awesome, 5-star location park, is run by extremely nice, helpful staff. When we arrived, we didn't know they were transitioning from serious management issues and unfortunately we were a victim of one issue they were having: people were allowed to drive into the park, take any open spot and then reserve it--whether or not the site had already been reserved by folks who hadn't arrived yet. Our site was no longer available and it took some time to find a spot that we were happy with. We got a stunning spot (water/electricity) that looks out onto the Boise Greenway. The spot fit our trailer and truck (40' trailer) with plenty of room to spare. Their "Greenway Row" features a very wide, park-length expanse of groomed, daisy-dotted lawn which overlooks the amazing Boise Greenway, bordered by attractive, 3-rail wooden fence. In fact, after being here for a few days, we'd say these are the best spots in the park. It's worth dealing with the 2-spot dump station--totally convenient btw--in order to be in this spectacular row. We put our lounge chairs out, kick back and have a wonderful time sipping coffee and watching happy folk ride bikes, run, and stroll by, with and without dogs and kids! It's truly IDYLLIC! This park has a combination laundry facility and bath house, all of which are terrific! Laundry: Plenty of large washers and dryers and a very reasonable reminder for folks not to leave their clothes for more than an hour. If you're bored, they even have a lender's library with a great selection of enticing titles! Showers and Sinks: many of each and both have endless hot water--really nice. (When's the last time you used a campground bathroom sink with HOT water?) Toilets: Plenty of odorless stalls which are kept clean and tidy with extra toilet paper (1/4 was temporarily out of order but there never any people waiting, so no worries!) Not every toilets is powerful enough for a full flush so you may need to wait around to flush a second time but no complaints from me!) The grounds staff are friendly, attentive and busy make sure things are in order, though I will say that they need to spend a few minutes walking around and weeding before things get out of control. As I'd mentioned, the location of this park is TERRIFIC! In fact, it's the ONLY campground located on the Boise Greenway, and that is a HUGE selling point! 28+ miles of lovely walking, cycling or running. Can't say enough about how beautiful it is! To be totally honest, if you are active and enjoy walking, running, rollerblading or cycling, the Boise Greenway is a contender for the very best greenway we've ever been on, and it's a serious reason to visit Boise! We're planning to return for a MONTH because of the Greenway! (Also a nature photographer's mecca and a birdwatchers slice of heaven! Every day I see folks lugging long lenses down the trail with happy smiles!) (After our bumpy start, we have fallen in love with this park and its location. Instead of moving on after our scheduled week, we asked if we could stay for another week--to our surprise, our spot was available! We called our next reserved park and cancelled the week, so that we could continue enjoying this wonderful park! And we will be back for an entire month next year!) (I included a picture showing a view out our back side window from my lounge! The back window of our RV is all Greenway! What fun!)

We have been a guest at the park several times over the years. We called and requested to stay a month at the monthly rate. The park is the closest to the VA and we scheduled many appointments for the month of April 2023. We were informed that Toni is the manager now and they would need to approve us. And Toni would call us back. No call back. Several days went by and we called back. Toni is too busy to talk to us. Instead we get the message that we can rent weekly for the month but no monthly rate would be available. I’m disappointed in the management of the park. There is no way that the current management and owners could handle expanding the park as they requested. I look forward to another management change at the park. I’m attaching a picture to show that we stayed at the park previously.

First time in a high-density private RV "resort" and even though I was unsure, it was really nice. The staff was wonderful, the bathroom, showers and laundry room were SUPER clean (and cheap at $1.50 per load) and the bike rental was reasonable. Really good coffe a few miles down the Greenbelt Trail (Push and Pour) and a gorgeous ankle-deep gravel bottom side channel of the Boise river just behind the park across the trail. Trees, green grass and access to water really numbed the pain of the 100 degree weather. Gravel sites with concrete pads so you need to get your level on, but a Wonderful place to stay in Boise!

I can only give the the Riverside RV park a one-star due to management. I lived in the park for 6 years almost and never had any problems until Tony and Patrick became managers there. I always kept my spot up the bar and helped all of my neighbors and friends that live there especially the elderly. I received a 24-hour notice by phone that included yelling obscenities at me and telling me that I would leave the park even if they had to hook on and pull my fifth wheel out of there themselves. The reason for my 24-hour eviction didn't even have anything to do with me technically. Tony and Patrick claim that I'm manipulated one of their workers that didn't even work there anymore at the time he had resigned. I told Tony and Patrick that I would like to talk to them in person. As soon as I returned home to my spot they came and beat on my door like thugs yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs to come outside that I was a coward. They're well aware that I'd injure myself a few months ago and in some way handicapped right now and have some serious other life situations going on. They ended up trying to give me a 5-day notice which I wasn't going to come outside because I felt threatened. I then called the police and was made aware that they could give me a 30-they notice. I have recorded evidence of the calls speaking with Tony and Patrick on the phone and I also have two other videos that I took while they assaulted me once before I go to police and once after from Patrick as he followed me to my home. It was made very clear for them and their staff to stay away from me or I would take legal action which was completely ignored. This management team is the worst I've ever seen in my life they'd be a little people, assault them with bad words and behavior and pretty much are tyrants. I don't really understand how the RV park gets away with letting them be in this position because they are not fit to do so. They instill fear in their tenants of being evicted with possibly know where to go. The Riverside RV park is part of the KOA so they have strings they pull where you cannot get into other parks here in the valley. These people get off on displacing elderly / sick / families that have nowhere to go. In my opinion Tony and Patrick must be evicted themselves and their position must be removed because they are the most unprofessional corrupt management team I have ever met. Upper management really needs to do something about this before the Riverside RV becomes under such scrutiny that legal action is taken against them possibly by the whole park at some point. I will be filing claim against these folks not necessarily on the Riverside RV park but Tony and Patrick and will make publicly known as much as I can what a horrible team they are to have there in a place that shoud have professionals working there...

One star because the location is great. Right off river and greenbelt. However the managers struggle a lot on basic management skills. My interactions have been mostly with Toni. I’ve experienced big explosions and emotional reactions.

We got accused of not watching our little girls which is untrue. They were always watched over and supervised. There were a lot of lies thrown at us and others we knew living long term. False accusations were sent to us and we were one of many families kicked out. I have documentation that shows their accusations were false that I have turned in.

I was then told they were going to put a limit on how many kids people can have. No more than 2 children per family, so if there is a family staying with two children it will get very awkward if they get pregnant… seems like discrimination against children. Having a limit of people per camper seems more reasonable.

The lawyer I spoke to told me this was not legal and to record her next time I spoke to her. All of the families I knew got kicked out based on unreasonable claims as well as lies. Some who had been there for a long time. With as little as 10 days notice (this is for long term stays)

We first arrived at the park when Lisa was manager. She was so great, friendly and the community felt so great. Then we had a management change. Everyone felt it, the energy they brought to the park felt extremely negative. I went into office twice to get to know managers and help make the place feel better. Once to see what I could do to help them make the changes they wanted. Another time to ask about new contracts and make sure we were following all rules where Toni then told me, your children are totally fine. (Two opportunities where issues or expectations could have been explained)

We got told they lost our 6 month contracts and were making everyone sign a one month contract. Again, another legal issue.

There were several instances where Toni started yelling at me screaming that I needed to pack my bags and have my family out that night. Again, another incident the laywer I spoke to said was unlawful.

I spoke to the owner Ron who agreed it was unacceptable. However I did not receive a follow up which was a disappointment. I would not recommend any families stay here. If there were a management change or Toni and Patrick were able to get some hands on training of how to deal with conflict and people management skills, there could be some hope. Otherwise, the location is not worth what I have seen happen again and again. Happy to change my review if management can be better or owner reaches out to let me know changes have been made to protect families and future residents...
