This is absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a Los Betos restaurant and I have had pure fat burritos before. But the staff at this new West Fairview location wouldn't even remake A burrito that they made half the size of the other burrito that was made exact same way. Their excuse was that since the pico de gallo was put on the side that the burrito had to be half the size as the other burrito that the Pico de gallo was also on the . Also on the phone the entire time a customer came in and ordered. I have never been treated so poorly by somebody at Los Betos Intel the cook just refused to do his job. I really hope that they do something about this location because I have never had an issue at this location before the lazy staff today. I even stated "why is he just lazy?" and he said yes. I have heard nothing but screaming in Spanish after this incident. I will never use another Los Betos until somebody fixes the poor attitude of these employees. The bottom burrito in the picture below was the burrito that they would not remake. If management does not do anything about this they have 3 customers of 10 years. And will never eat and a place that promotes poor attitude.

I’m so BEYOND FRUSTRATED!!! We went to the Fairview location about 1:45am-2am on what is now may 25th and ordered what I always get. Nothing out of the normal, easy time ordering, no long wait time, everything’s fine until my boyfriend and I get home to split our chicken quesadilla with added steak. (We never ask for any sauce. We always are asked if we would like some and politely decline because we both have sensitive stomaches.) well I was so upset to find out food nearly drowning in the red hot sauce. I know there’s generally a little kick to the quesadillas if any kick but I’m sitting here with my lips numb, on fire, swollen, as well as my boyfriend who about choked on his half from the amount of spice. I tried to call the store but like usual no one will answer the phone. Now we not only won’t be finishing our food, we wasted almost $11.00 on a very disappointing meal from our favorite place. Plus it’s also the middle of the night we can’t just go back out to get something different or go back to the store to make them fix it. At this point I’m calling it a night and going to bed upset, disappointed, and annoyed.

I would have like a little more beans and cheese. The taste was a little bland, but with the salsa and lime it was good. The second time I came I got a bean and cheese burrito. The beans where not hot and the cheese was not melted. Overall I think the food quality is low here. On my most recent visit they served me a totally cold bean and cheese burrito with the cheese unmelted. You can't expect any consistency of quality here. I paid almost $7.00 and still get a cold and small burrito.

Edit on 06/02/2021 (Previous review was 7 months prior and set at 4 stars): I went in today and ordered a shredded beef taco and a carnitas taco plain. She repeated it back to me. I got home and the carnitas taco is very obviously not carnitas, but steak. They got the plain part right, so with her repeating it back to me, I'm not sure how they still got it wrong. Especially because I still come here 3 times a week or more. Anyway, I didn't even bother going back because that's one thing you can count on with these guys, is that fixing a mistake will be much harder than it's worth. You're better off just biting the bullet and eating it or paying for the right product to be made. The last time I went back, I had the entire thing with me, like their sign says (it basically dictates that a certain percentage has to be there still and that they will remake it for you if that is the case). I explained the issue to the woman at the window, who clearly didn't understand what I was telling her. She just kept looking at me and saying I needed to pay to have it remade. I finally got frustrated and told her that they messed up, I will not be paying, and to just remake my food because it's not what I ordered. I still don't think she even understood what I was saying, but just remade it anyway because I was upset at the lack of solution. Unfortunately, this will likely be my last time back, given that the quality of the food has gone downhill significantly over the last year. They've clearly had a change in suppliers between the quality of their meat changing drastically and their French fries changing to crinkle cut. It was nice going there, while they still knew how to make good Mexican food.

Excellent food, complete lack of Customer Service. I live quite close and I'd say I eat here an average of 4-5 times per week. The good is what keeps me coming back. It's funny though, I pointed out to my roommate that you literally have to try to get them to talk once you're at the window. You can say Thank you 10+ times (as I always do) and get absolutely nothing back. No Hello at the beginning, no come again at the end. They simply take your payment, give you your food, and shut the window. Its rather odd, but man, I must say these Carnitas tacos will have me coming...

Unbelievably bad service! I work at Darigold, and our employees order from Los Betos all the time. Today I ordered 25 breakfast burritos for work colleagues via order.online - the DoorDash subsidiary. I received an email and a text confirming the order. When I came to pick up the order, the cashier told me that he had no idea about my order. When I tried explaining and showing him my phone with the text and the email confirmation, he just rudely walked away to assist the drive through customers. I patiently waited until he came back to the front to take orders from other customers. Then I approached him again saying that I had a charge on my credit card from Los Betos. The cashier still did not offer any solutions. Keep in mind, I am fluent in Spanish, so the entire time I was speaking to this cashier in his native language. I asked if I could speak to his supervisor. He said that the supervisor was going to be here at 10am. Since it was 9:40 and I did not want to wait any longer, I asked if I could have the supervisor’s or manager’s phone number. The cashier ignored me again and walked away. I ended up resolving the issue by calling DoorDash and canceling the order. 2 people showed around 10am, and I saw the cashier talk to them, but none of them approached me or even visually acknowledged that I was there. Disappointed, to say the least. Too bad you just missed on a $150 revenue today and on many-many future orders from me and my colleagues. Ignorance is not a way to treat any customer, especially, not your loyal local customers who keep you...

I will say I used to be a frequent patron of this location. I have visited no less than 30-40 times would be my estimation. But this last visit will be my last. I caught norovirus from eating here, which is a highly contagious food related disease. It only happens from something like someone going to the bathroom and going back to food prep without washing their hands. The next day, which usually takes 1-2 days on incubation I was already having gastric distress and diarrhea the entire day. By the following morning, I vomited no less than 15 times, and went to the bathroom with severe diarrhea at least another 30 times.

It really comes as no surprise to me, because if you look at their CDH inspection records, they have had more than 74 (SEVENTY FOUR) food service violations in the last 5 years, most of them critical violations such as toxic substances not labeled, improper hand washing, raw food touching cooked food, no records of storage times, improper storage temps, and many many more. The only times they ever pass inspection are on follow up visits. This tells me that the staff and management are lazy at best, and do just enough work to pass the next inspection and then go right back to their dangerous and disgusting ways.

I would avoid this location at all costs unless you’d like to be another statistic of food...
