I was so excited to have someone from bungalow come out to my home to help me with my interior design. Monica came out and took some measurements and photos and made a few suggestions. She was very nice and pleasant to talk to. After she left about a week went by without hearing from her so I called to check in and she finally set a time for me and my husband to come into the store for a design presentation. We liked everything she offered. I asked if there was something I needed to pay for that day and she said no not yet. We left the store and a couple weeks went by without hearing from her. I called her and asked if there was something that I said that offended her and she said no, not at all that she enjoyed working with me that she just had some personal issues going on. From there, she invited me to a work room to go through Wallpaper and lighting books. We picked out some wallpaper and lighting and she was supposed to get back to me with a quote for those items. At that time, I asked her again, is there something that I need to pay for like the pillows or order the light fixture that we were interested in and she said no not yet, but I did notice that she placed hold tags on everything that I was going to purchase so I thought maybe she just wants to wait until we finished picking out everything before we start ordering stuff and purchasing everything we picked out off the floor. Several weeks went by without hearing from her so I finally went to the store to return the sample books I borrowed from the work room and I noticed that All the items that she had picked out for me to purchase were back on the floor with the hold tags removed. I actually expected that she might call me after she noticed that I returned the sample books as a reminder that she need to get back to me. But she never did. I do not understand what happened and why she keeps drawing me like everything was fine and then ghosting me. It’s so disappointing. Especially because at the beginning of this project I told her about my friend that was having trouble with a designer she was working with, that Didn’t communicate well and didn’t follow through with things she said she was going to do for my friend. I definitely did not want that to be my experience unfortunately, that’s exactly what I got. I don’t understand why she waisted her time and my time putting together a look and taking me to a work room to pick out wallpaper and lighting only to not follow through with the sale. So disappointing, unfortunately I don’t think I would recommend anyone going to bungalow or using their design services. We were so pleased to find a new set of dining chairs that worked well with our existing mix of antiques, vintage and contemporary pieces. We appreciated the time to wander, sit in every chair, and move things around the store to see how they looked together. We are so grateful for the patient and professional assistance of Theresa Kerley who guided, advised, informed and made suggestions for our consideration. Not once was she selling. Spending time with Theresa was like shopping with your tastemaker best friend you trust and count on to guide you. When it was difficult to make a final decision she encouraged us to take pieces home on approval to see in our own home. While that opportunity was generous it also confirmed Bungalow Home’s commitment to customer satisfaction, at every touch point of our transaction. Thank you so much.
