I now travel the extra distance to this location instead of the Overland restaurant. This restaurant has much better tasting food and always seems fresh. Even better, I almost never experience a line here, and when I do it moves along so fast I don't even have time to reply to a text on my phone. The food always tastes and looks amazing, it looks like they actually take pride in their presentation. I wish they would offer more special entrees, like having a new one each month like they used to.
The one complaint I do have is that they ask for donations every time I go in. Usually companies do this for a month or so, but Panda has done it non stop for over a year. They ring a bell every time a person donates and the entire staff is supposed to thank the customer , it's gotten to the point where not even 2 of the staff hardly murmers "thank you" because they've been doing it so long.
I know how those things work, only 20% or less of each donation goes to the actual cause. I don't like to be asked every single time I go in to donate my hard earned money, and saying no I feel like a jerk. Why can't panda express donate their money... Why does it make...

We had just tried to stop somewhere else and were treated badly because it was almost closing time. We don't normally go to a restaurant near their closing time because service can be pretty poor if you do. We were hungry and did not want to cook after work so we tried a couple places most closed or acting like we asked for their first born child. This was our first time getting food from this location we got a family meal for $30. I did not realize there would be so much food. As it was almost closing time they were pretty low on choices but made a batch of orange chicken for me. I didn't expect them to make it just asked if they had any left and they made it up for me. The woman who served us was so nice and helpful. We had a really long day and it was nice to have someone treat us nicely when they did not have to. Read moreI'm rating a specific visit I made on 02/10/17 - after being greeted by the gentleman behind the counter, I told him my order was to go and he asked me what my side would be. I said no side, but I'd have a 3-entee plate. He proceeded to tell me it would cost extra. I've done this numerous times before, and never been charged beyond the price the 3-entree plate would cost. So, I challenged him and informed him of this. He tells me without a side, I am purchasing 3 a la carte enttees instead of the combo plate, which is more costly. At this point, I asked to speak to the manager, and he stated he was the manager, and told me his employees who have not charged me more in the past have done it wrong. At this point, I informed him it is in no way reasonable to charge someone more for requesting less food than would normally come with such an order.
