Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Garden City

The gal working the front counter was totally carrying the customer service load for everyone else in the place. She was genuinely apologizing to me and other customers, and explaining that they were just slammed with orders and were turning out pizzas as fast as possible.

They seemed to be woefully unequipped for such a load too, as I was waiting for probably a good 30 minutes or so, but it helped that this gal - whose name I didn't get - kept giving updates and kept apologizing.

She even expressed her appreciation for everyone's wait (to each person individually as we got out pizzas), and I made sure that she knew I appreciated her hard work, which she surely isn't getting paid enough for at a pizza joint. In fact, she should probably be running the place.

Ordered for delivery to hotel room. An hour later no delivery so I called. Was told there was an issue with my order that they had the wrong room number AND wrong phone number. So they wrote both numbers down wrong? Smh. Said would get it right out to me. I asked would it be cold and the girl said it shouldn't be. The delivery guy was here within 10 minutes. Pizza was great as usual but 5 starts here for the young man/men working at this particular location. I went in to pick-up my 2 pizzas with my 10 month old daughter. The lad didn't even hand em to me, instead he walked around the counter and asked where I was parked. I almost wish I was charged a delivery fee lol this gentleman brought them out for me and set them in my passenger seat all so I didn't have to attempt carrying them while holding my daughter....
