Belmont Brew House — Restaurant in Garden City

Chris, Bob and the staff are always so friendly and happy to see you. I’m in awe at how much effort they put into the variety of kegs they stock. Today, I ordered the Spicy Honey Pepperoni Pizza. Such a unique flavor and a HUGE hit at the office. I love how the tiny pepperoni’s keep the honey contained. The edges of the pepperoni’s have a crunchy texture. The Meatball Sliders with the Cajun Tots were a ‘home-run!’ (See what I did there?) One of my favorite things to order is queso at restaurants. I’m pretty snooty about my queso. I loved how flavorful this is. The chunks of Pico make it that much better. Chef’s kiss😋 I had to order the Churros with Caramel Sauce. Um, you can’t have just one! They are mini and bite sized. The Carmel melts in your mouth. I love the atmosphere here. I signed up for Paint Night in a couple weeks. I’m hoping they have the Crystalweiss on tap so I can try it. Looking forward...

While they offer a great selection with 43 taps featuring beers, ciders, and wine, this place still needs quite a bit of work. Although they've only been open for about a week, they’re clearly still working out kinks with their POS system. They ask you to remember the numbers of the beers you want, but then seem to have trouble keeping track of them, which led to some confusion with my flight. I tried the bone-in wings, but they were pretty standard—nothing special, just typical bar food. I noticed that Digital Pour listed the Blood Orange beer at $5, but I was charged $10, which made me wonder if I was being double charged. I really wanted to give this place a shot since Twisted District is one of our favorites, but it’s going to be a while before I decide to return. You have to really be looking for this place to find it. Google Maps took us around the block to try to find it. We finally came back out on Chinden and were able to find it. The brisket pizza was delicious, and the pretzel bites were super good. We did get a ton of pretzel bites, but only one cheese dipping sauce. Would have been nice to have two sauces because we ran out. When we asked for mustard for our pretzels, they do not have any. They were super accommodating and custom made a pizza for us. We did get a little custom order of flight of beer, and they were super yummy as well. They have a little swag area where you can purchase items. We also totally loved the game shelf where you can pick out some games to play at your table. We had fun playing a couple of games while we waited on our food.
