Zo's Good Burger Garden City — Restaurant in Garden City

What a nice place. We tried ZO's Good Burger few days ago in a group of 6 people and here is my review for what I have ordered. I ordered build your own burger with double patties, cheddar cheese, lettuce and onions with mayo, ketchup and mustard. I also ordered the food truck style spicy chicken burger with no pickles. The beef patties tasted good but a bit dry and I felt the sandwich was a bit salty as well. There was barely any onions in the sandwich. The bun is nothing special, it is a mass produced cheap sesame bun. Overall, the burger tasted good, but it lacked the wow factor. I would rate my burger a 7 out of 10. Next time I will ask for a brioche bun instead, and less salt. The Chicken burger was good, tender and a bit spicy. Also missing the wow factor that makes you want to go back for more. The fries is nothing special as well and it was dry. The young lady at the front counter has an exceptional customer service 👏 and tried her best to make us feel welcome. Kudos to you. I will definitely visit again and report back. Went back 2 months later. I ordered a make your own burger with 2 patties, cheddar cheese, lettuce and fresh onions on a brioche bun. Wow! Being very picky with my food I have to say that the burger I had from Good Burger was hands down the greatest burger I've ever had. The moment I walked into the restaurant the vibe was awesome. I was greeted instantaneously and the décor was awesome it looked very retro and I felt like I was at "the max" from saved by the bell. First impressions are huge and they did a great job at setting a great one. Now most importantly the food. While deciding what to order the employee was very knowledgeable of the menu and was able to answer any and all questions I had. Once my order was placed my mouth began to water as I witnessed other burgers being handed out. Before I knew it my burger was up with a side of the delicious Cajun fries. I took the first bite and was "WOW' ed" the burger had this wonderful crust on the outside yet the inside was moist, juicy and packed with flavor. If you don't support racism don't eat here, I recieved cold food twice went back the 2nd time for a refund the owner met me at the door and told me there was nothing he could do and that i could not enter his establishment. he is the owner and I was a usual customer living only 3 blocks away I called the police and so did he and was advised to stay off the property with no refund I asked for fresh fries and fresh food that was all he denied me that. So I asked is it because I'm black he did not comment but served people of his same ethnicity (arabic) fresh food and hot fries. I will never return to good burger from the way he treats black americans. I repeat anyone who does not support racism should not eat here. As a restaurant owner his integrity and morals as a man are at question due to how he treated me.
