Bobby V's Cocktails — Restaurant in Garden Grove

This place is a redneck bar with a hint of 90s grunge. If you're in your late 30s to your 60s this is your place. Don't get me wrong these are not criticisms merely descriptive details of the clientele. Of which I find myself tonight.

Fairly good hard liquor selection and about 14 beers on tap with many many more bottles and cans. They regularly have live music, two pool tables, and are frequented by food trucks that specializes in barbecue.

It's conveniently right off of katella avenue. Parking is kind of a pain but if you could find it, it's an enjoyable place to have a drink. Was a friendly atmosphere and has bartenders who pour shots generously. They also kept that A/C on full blast, which helps make the place that much...

I just discovered this bar and it is my new #1 favorite. I highly recommend to anyone who likes cheap, strong drinks, friendly bar tenders and a really nice owner named Bobby. Everyone introduced themselves and shook hands making me feel really welcome. There are 2 pool tables, a jukebox, a dart board, an ATM machine and 5 closed circuit tv's playing sporting events and local news. Also a small stage for live bands on the weekends. Nice bar. Two pool tables. Parking odd. Finally got lighting in the back area. Pool tables need repair: not level, cloth worn, likely get lot of use for the balls roll super fast in comparison to others. Not playing here anymore, tried to play an APA match tonight on table near restrooms, the speed made cue ball uncontrollable let alone not level, you couldn't pay me to play pool there - no enjoyment.
