Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Garden Grove

Staff seemed nice. I'm an indecisive person so sometimes takes me 5 to 10 minutes to decide what I want. I'll sometimes watch one or two other people go and order in front of me to see what they get.(I don't walk up to the counter until I'm ready) One of the people seem to be annoyed because I was standing there a bit long even though the restaurant wasn't that full nor that busy. I finally ordered a jack Munchie meal and decided to ask for some ketchup and ranch. The lady before me had picked up the meal was able to get some ranch and I thought that was a great idea for a chicken sandwich. When I walked up to the counter when they called out my number I asked for ketchup and ranch, and the lady wanted to pretend like I didn't say ranch and just handed me some ketchup with a bit of an undertone attitude, and proceeded just to hand me a handful of ketchup. I smiled and said thank you and walked away.

Has it become just a norm for anyone working in the restaurant biz to be so rude and condescending? I’ve been there and done it myself! A little smile goes a long way, but many are really forgetting it!

Had a late night run for usual spot, and haven’t had complaints before. Food is as expected, but the lady taking the order tonight sounded very uninterested and repeated order few times before she got it right. I had to repeat the order at the window just to make sure, and sure enough, she forgets an item. Worse, when the food came out, she just stood there, staring menacingly at me until i realized she was holding my food. It was cold, so i had my window rolled up and didn’t notice until i turned my head. She could’ve said something or waved. I asked for a top off on drink i was drinking while waiting for food, and she refused. I always get that accommodation at the same spot with others.

Overall, bad experience tonight. Would consider revisiting and see if it is just one...

This Jack In The Box box was just remodeled inside and out. It is very nice inside. They have tables with outlets for those that want to connect their laptops, or charge devices such as phones. It is a great meeting place for breakfast. They serve coffee in decanters on the front counter that you can refill yourself. They ask you how many creamers you want unlike most places which only give you one without asking. They have free internet which seems to be the standard at most fast food places. This location did not have internet previously. The staff is pleasant. They keep the tables clean, and the floor swept. Over all this location is much better. If you just want some quick food, coffee, a phone recharge or internet. Garden Grove Jacks is the place to go. I would recommend it. Not only that but at the same location you have Ralph's grocery, Walgreen's and other outlet stores nearby, as well as Kaiser Permanente directly...
