I really don't like coming to this mcdonalds because of its long wait for curbside order, its 6:16pm. If im alone, I'll go in and get it. But I'm never alone when I come here. first of all, this would not be my choice in food option. But I have a child who is on the autism spectrum and this is one of her preferred food items. It would be a mission to get out, get the food, hope my kid doesnt throw a fit and wants to stat, or something else. It's process and if you know anyone with a child in general curbised is the way to go.
But i always want to give this place the benefit of the doubt that it won't take that long.
So, the reason I'm at this location specifically is that I visit a friend who's in the neighborhood, and I have to make a stop here. Otherwise, I'd go to my neighborhood mcdonals in westminster, on westminster and goldenwest, and they bring it out quickly. Not just for me but for others too.
It's just so bizarre how long it takes. I started writing this post when I got here and I'm still here, 630pm, waiting for my mobile order....
(I hasn't taken me this long to write the post, but I'm just waiting until my child's food gets here to really update when they give me the order.)
Note: the guy parked next to me and the lady to my right have also gotten out to see what is going on with their orders, and they were here before me...
Also, if they're short staff, honestly, I would totally understand but if you could put up a sign so you don't get your customers mad or confused, as to why it's taking sooooo long, that would be nice.
Okay I'm still waiting here and it's 645, my child is now super upset and hungry. I walked inside to see what is the hold up. They don't even have a cashier. There is 1 person trying to assist with the front and take out.
Now it's 7:02pm and the kitchen is full but I can't believe how long this has taken. Im just super upset and confused and I for sure will have to call...
Read moreThis McDonald's has major problems. I pulled up to the drive through menu and the screen was so dark that I couldn't see anything. I told the young lady taking my money that the screen is really bad and she rolls her eyes and says to me in the most condescending way, "we know. It's really bad, We've called someone to come and fix it. There's a process to that, you know? Things just don't happen". I'm like, OK.... I go to the next window to pick up my food and an offer Hispanic lady gives me my drink and just says, "wait". No other explanation, just says wait. Then a few minutes later she comes to the window and says, "go to the next window". Wait another couple minutes and some guy comes to the window and gives me a bag of food and just closes the window. I check the bag and no ketchup. I honk the horn. No one comes. Honked again. Still no one. I pull back to the first window and the older Hispanic lady comes. I ask, "can I have some ketchup?" she says, "huh?" I say, "ketchup, can I have some?" She grabs some ketchup, gives it to me and shuts the window. What is wrong with these people? They don't learn how to"serve" people? You are working in the service industry. Provide some of it, please. And to think that these workers will soon be getting paid $22 an hour is mind boggling. The service that they provide isn't worth $2...
Read morethe inside was closed...evidently they close at 9pm. The only way is drive through. I ordered a quarter pounder with a medium coffee. THE TOTAL FOR A SANDWICH IN A BOX AND COFFEE WAS $11.28. IF I GOT FRIES, IT WOULD BE ALMOST $15. The next day I purchased a fish sandwich with a small coffee...$7.05. For 2 commercially prepared sandwiches and 2 coffee {no refills on drive through} I paid almost $20. How do they compete with coffee shops? Their products are too overpriced to be fast food. However the fish sandwich is the best fish I have ever had....so you are paying premium prices for food while sitting in your car for a long period of time but the quality of the food is exceptional. I applaude the fact that McDonald's, I've been told, is developing their own delivery drivers like Amazon, avoiding another $5...
