Well i guess ill have to start looking for a new Korean corn dog place. For starters, my daughter and i have been coming here for years pretty regularly. Most of the time we eat there. They have a condiments section where you can put ketchup, mustard etc on your corndog. Sometimes we order to go. And they give us packets of ketchup and mustard and sweet chilli to go. No prob. Today however, we decided to order through Doordash pickup. We had some errands to run and thought it would just be quicker: get off, grab our order and go. But when i was placing our order, it only let us pick ketchup as our only condiment. And was trying to charge us for mustard. Lol i figured it was a doordash app glitch or just the way the system was set up. Figured id ask for mustard and sweet sauce at pickup. But when we walked in to get our order, we asked if we could get some mustard and the girl working there told us no. She said it needed to be ordered thru the app. And i explained that it wasn't letting us add the mustard without charging us. Surely you aren't trying to charge us extra, for mustard packets. She doubled down and explained that her boss set up the rules and she can't do anything about it. ITS MUSTARD!!! Why can i not have some packets of mustard just because i ordered for pickup on DD? So here's the breakdown: If i dine in, i can use as much ketchup and mustard as i want. If i walk in and order to- go, i can have ketchup and mustard packets to go. No extra charge. But if i order on doordash FOR PICKUP, that's where you draw the line on MUSTARD PACKETS?? How does that make any sense? The whole experience was so annoying. The worker was so petty and matter-of- fact. Wanting customers to pay extra for condiments that already come with an order is insane. Especially since i already paid more just by ordering through doordash in the first place. In store the corndogs are 4.99 and on DD they're 5.49. The whole thing was ridiculous to me. Losing two loyal customers over a few packets of mustard is crazy Work.
Edit: oh and another thing, we had also ordered tteoboki and paid $2 extra for cheese and she forgot to put the cheese in our tteoboki. For a company trying to nickel and dime their customers over mustard, you should make sure you give your customers what...
Read moreWe tried Korean corn dogs for the first time and it was a nice treat. We did take out and Myungrang provided all the condiments, so we could douse the dogs just as if we were eating at the restaurant. We don't live far, so the dogs were still crunchy when we got home.
We tried it once and probably won't return, because the boy, my little corn dog lover, surprisingly said the dogs are too greasy. He did like the cheese dogs over the sausage dogs. I guess greasy is to be expected with deep fried corn dogs.
The squid ink sounded interesting, because I throw squid ink away when preparing squid. It's dark. What's it like in corn dogs? Well, my suspicion is right. I didn't taste any flavor difference. It just made the batter inky black.
Google maps told us to go all around the back of the shopping mall, but no big deal. We arrived and found parking. It's a popular shopping center, so lucky...
Read moreI've been here a few times with my siblings and my significant other, and every time we've gone here, the service and foods have always been really good. The atmosphere is nothing to be amazed at because it's mainly a korean street food. The dishes can get overwhelming as you start to finish it, though, because the dish is large, but if you're hungry, the hotdogs (american corndog) will be more than enough. I did have different servers ask whether or not I wanted my hotdogs with sugar or not, so the consistency of service could vary. Overall, I've had great experience at this establishment, and I will continue to go here, but only when I want to treat myself or when I'm eating with...
