Indulged in a Large Bowl (5 scoops) priced at $15.99, this poke spot stands out as one of the best deals in Orange County. A true gem, it delivers top-notch QUALITY poke at a reasonable cost, and the portion sizes are even more impressive.
While I typically stick to SALMON at poke places, the allure of trying their SCALLOP and the inclusion of avocado (usually an additional charge elsewhere) piqued my interest.
To my delight, the fish surpassed expectations with its deliciousness, great quality, and a remarkably fresh taste. Notably, the cuts of poke and portions here are significantly larger than those at other establishments, making it undeniably worth the price. The standout BOOTEA RICE, infused with green tea, cilantro, and garlic, offers a uniquely flavorful base that enhances the overall experience.
Upon the worker's suggestion, I opted for both the I Lava You and The OG house sauces, and they indeed provided the perfect spice kick and savory essence to elevate my bowl.
Without a doubt, I'll be returning to what is now my favorite poke spot in Orange County. Excitingly, their menu extends beyond traditional offerings, including sushirritos, a tempting option I'll be sure to explore on...
Read moreThis place is the bada bing bada b-b-bomb! Yo, I love this place, not like the way someone loves their children or their motorcycle, but you know what I mean. This place has some of the best poke I have ever tasted, and I have tried quite a few. Starting from the base, you have to try their bootea rice, it’s a nice cilantroey tasting rice, I really like it. Then the sauce, my go to is usually the shoyutheway and wasababy sauce, yes, they have weird sauce names, but some people name their kids weird, so there’s that, but they taste good. The sauces, not the kids, that’s weird. They have a pretty compact sitting area, you might have to rub elbows with strangers, but who cares when the food is good. Anyway, just go and get you some tasty protein packed bowl and feel good...
