Donut King Inc — Restaurant in Gardena

This doughnut shop has been around a long time but its extremely mediocre. There is nothing wrong with being a shrewd business owner but this place won't give you an inch, extra pickles on your sandwich? NOPE. Want a bigger cup for your double scoop ice cream? NOPE you have to get this tiny Dixie cup or pay a dollar extra. Skip this place. They will try to squeeze every last penny out of you for a mediocre product. No WiFi, No electrical plugs, and if you go before 12noon the place is filled with retired racist old black dudes who have nothing to do but play the lotto and complain about Mexicans stealing jobs....

This has been the local "starbucks" long before Starbucks owner was most likely born. Lol The local hollypark veterans go there and talk about sports, news, local info for over 40 years. I have childhood memories of my grandfather walking us here with our saved up pennies to cash them in for donut holes and cola in the glass bottle. They are remodeling the entire corner after 35 years. Change is good but I wonder what took it so long. Donut hold come free now with the purchase of one donut ranging from $1 and up.
