One star for the manager who obviously has no real professional training in customer service or even human decency. I was shocked how Tammy ,on Sunday 9/10/2017, treated my sister and I. I had purchased a cutlery set on Targets website and requested delivery/pick up at this location. When my sister went to pick it up, she noticed the color was wrong- I ordered Gold but they had Black at the desk. Tammy asked my sister if she would like to cancel the order since they had delivered the wrong color. My sister and I insisted that we did not want to cancel it rather just get the right color! I need the Gold cutlery for my wedding party favors and am on a tight budget/schedule. The color/ price/ location was perfect for me, I just wanted what I paid for. Tammy insisted that it is not in stock at that store and she can not fix the issue. I asked her why doesnt she reach out to the internal departments/ distribution and find the correct color...Track the order? Find an alternative ? Duh..? Right..? Her answer was that my only option was to cancel the order. She also claimed that when you purchase on Targets website you dont actually pay for it at that time. If I did not pay for it, why is the money missing from my account and I have a confirmation email/order number along with it!? She did not offer any assistance what so ever. So.. to fix the issue I contacted Target customer service phone. As I am on a tight schedule, I couldnt be sitting on the phone at work trying to fix TARGETS mistake so I received a case number to call back later. When I called back, the agent said they would transfer me to Guest Services and actually after waiting for 15 minutes a busy tone started. I called back, again someone says they will transfer me and then busy tone after a long wait. So I called back. The 4th time I called I spoke to someone named Jean. Obviously she has experience and training in customer service, because right away she located the cutlery at a store 20 minutes away. I appreciated her effort however still found it to be unfair that now my family and I would need to travel 20 minutes away for Targets mistake. She offered me a gift card for the inconvenience, and a refund back to my account, and I accepted. Although my faith was restored in Target, I still believe that I shouldnt have had to spend so much time and energy to fix something that a so-called manager couldve done within the first 10 minutes. For this reason I am leaving this review with hopes that a higher level manager will check Tammy at Hawthorne Target on 120th, and require her to do further customer service training. Train her on the policies, and procedures of how to save face for TARGET when dealing with a customer/ and how to FIX customer service issues especially when the issue is the fault of TARGET. NEVER say to a customer that YOU have nothing to do with another department or internal office for the company you work for- especially if you are in management. To a customer like myself, that sounds like you have no purpose at the company- What the hell are you there for if not to fix customer service issues and MANAGE the products?? The LEAST she couldve done was to go online, or call another location to discover if they carry the product. THAT was the LEAST she couldve done. And as Jean did, the next step, is to offer some type of compensation / discount for the inconvenience. She as a manger had this power or the power to escalate it to someone who does. She completely dropped the ball. Had a bad attitude. What the heck was that woman doing at work that day if she was not prepared to DO HER...

I returned an item and purchased a microwave and took it home and with 20 minutes brought it back to the store because the microwave was not only used (there were scratches and the inside of the microwave was dirty)but there were roach droppings and spiders embedded into the bottom of the box and the microwave. When I got to the store the Brandon the manager was extremely rude and embarrassed me in front of other customers and employees and questioned me about the way the microwave looked and even went to check if I indeed brought the item back within 20 minutes. He was the one that showed me where the microwave were so I didn't understand his actions, but he commented "I wasn't born yesterday, but I will give you store credit." Read moreI was getting a L’Oréal foundation and I went to guest services to price match because it is cheaper at Walmart ($10.97) . The lady (which did not have a name tag) told me it’d be $24 if I get it at Walmart . That is ridiculous . I have never heard of this amount even buying this exact foundation at Walmart, Walmart online, and price matching at target when I can’t make it to Walmart ! I have bought this foundation for YEARS. They never gave me a problem, and I’ve never heard of it being $24 at Walmart . I checked on my Walmart app and showed the woman at the cash register that it said $10.97. She did not care and basically said oh well that it said $24 on their system. I do not understand why she couldn’t acknowledge what I was trying to explain to her...
