Jim Brown Sauce Boss — Restaurant in Gardena

We've recently had a behind the scenes look and had to come back to edit this review... We were shocked to find how and where the food is prepared. There are rat droppings EVERYWHERE and we found more than 90 types of bacteria in all the SO-CALLED clean pots and pans we tested; furthermore the wife of Jim Brown was seen smoking while stirring beans and ashes clearly fell in the pot. Her excuse was "that lil bit of ashes ain't gonna hurt nothing"... There is mold everywhere and we guess people aren't getting sick, because of the free penicillin in their food. We're never going back and if we ever see Jim Brown and his "special" sauce, it will be with the Health...

Saw them from the street and felt like some BBQ for lunch. Ordered the Brisket sandwich combo, which came with one side and soda. My side was the Mac & cheese and I added an additional side of Greens for $2. Very satisfied with the sandwich... flavorful! Wish I would have asked for additional sauce on the side. So disappointed in this place. Ordered 2 TX brisket dinner plates with 2 sides each. Only rec'd 2 sides, missing the sides for the 2nd order. The chkn wings were under cooked. The brisket was overcooked. The mac n cheese tasted liked they used cheese sauce from a can. The greens were too sweet and worst of all, the rib tips were boiled.
