😢 NO !! NOT EVER AGAIN WILL I SPEND A DIME HERE !! ALL READING, STOPDO NOT DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO BE SLYLY & SLICKLY TREATED LIKE THIS ! !!! Before it changed Ownership, it was a Respectable place, that had a Community Love of All people.... in that I will say it has become a Well Serviced place for All things Hispanic. !! YES, IM CALLING DISCRIMINATION. BIG TIME... I am African american & have frequented this place since High School. That is a long time & a lot of money spent here to be treated the way I have been My last 4-5 years Here. On 3 occasions & this year my Husband was treated poorly too. I usually Order by phone. 15 min. Ahead of time. Because I know it's popular & want to get my food at least within 15- 20 min When I arrive. However, on the 3 occasions, once I get there, & pay my money. Noticed that a Hispanic person will come in, order After me, the same thing & is served My Order 1st.... 🤔 😡 I know I'm not crazy. I heard the person Order 2 Breakfast burritos AFTER I HAVE PHONE ORDERED & PAID. Within minutes , they are called to get their order & I am left there, still waiting. I DO go up & say something. But. They will look at my ticket & say, Ohh! You are Next. Come on people! I have eyes & ears and know when I've been passed by... Not just once, but 3 times. 🤔 So I gave up & Stopped giving them my Money to be treated like that... it was Stamped, when after my 4year stop. Hubby wanted to go Get Burritos & was treated the same way. Bye- Bye Steven's, Never again... and I will tell others to Stop... Don't spend another Dime at...

Colossal Burgers

Plain old burger bun, thousand island dressing, juicy burger drippings, a juicy burger patty, shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, and not to forget the star of the dish, PASTRAMI!

The most tasty and juicy version of this type of sandwich you’ll get in all of LA. The colossal burger may not have been conceptualized here, but maybe they perfected it.

Some places spare you the pastrami, others overload you with bun, and hipsters may try to spin it in weird quirky little ways, but when it comes to this burger, Stevens is king.

Chili Cheese Pastrami Fries

If this clogs your arteries and you die and have to account for why you’re there, you may mention you wanted to taste heavenly food before you got to heaven.

The components are in the name itself. Stevens has very delicious, but very oily chili. They could definitely take more time to extract the oil from the chili before it’s served.

Their west coast style thinly sliced pastrami never misses.

Their steak fries are crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. I’ve never seen them over or under cooked. Always a crispy golden pomme fritte.

The cheese...not sure what kind it is, but perhaps some type of cheddar. I haven’t tasted this same cheese anywhere else that I can recall. Perfect shred, always melted.

I'm very sad about this review. I ordered a large chili cheese pastrami fries ($17.40). Instead of him cooking large fries at one time, he cooked 3 small orders separately. I had old fries, cold fries, and new fries with chili and cheese dumped on them. I wish people didn't try to hurt you because you're a different race buying food. If colored people stopped buying STEVENS BURGERS, it wouldn't be a business anymore. I asked for fresh fries. She said that's all they did. And, she was wrong. Now I'm sick all because of some NASTY trick THAT THEY LAUGHED OVER. I PRAYED OVER MY FOOD THANK GOD. HALLELUJAH JESUS! I'm glad I only ate a few bites. I could have gotten really sick. ( Well... Headache, diarrhea, upset stomach, 😡 😢 😫 😪 ) BE careful. I've been coming here for years. Never any problems. Now... It hurts physically and emotionally. TREAT PEOPLE LIKE YOU WANT TO BE TREATED.
