The Toss Up — Restaurant in Gardena

This place is amazing!! Excellent customer service from the time I opened the doors until the time I left. Now, if you're ready to indulge in unlimited goodness this is the place for you lol. The menu is huge and can be overwhelming BUT they have no problem breaking down the menu for you. The plus is, nothing here is fried so you don't have to feel guilty if you choose to indulge.

The menu led me to get the Shrimp Alfredo and it was everything!! Shrimp: seasoned to perfection, no baby shrimp here.. nice size shrimp. The noodles were not overcooked, the alfredo sauce was creamy and delicious chef's kiss if you're in a pasta mood, definitely swing this way with your decision. Keep in mind, if you're in a salad mood, you can turn any salad into a wrap which is heavenly (in my opinion).

The choices are endless here, I was super excited to have found this place. The ambiance is perfect, great for groups, to study or family dinner night. It's very warm and welcoming and you can tell that they appreciate their customers and your business. Also, I recommend not getting a fountain drink and try their fruit juice instead THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! any flavor.. all are delicious. If you like acai bowls, they have the BEST acai I've ever had!! A definite must try. You will not be disappointed with The Toss Up trust me!! Head over there and see what the delicious hype...

When finding a healthy alternative, it not only tastes good but service is superb!

Area: located straight ahead of the 91 freeway, less than a mile to get there. In Gardena.

Parking: has a big parking structure so parking is always available.

Diner: inside is spacious. Has a chill vybe music is very enjoyable. Rare to find a spot that plays some Brentwood. 10/10.

Food. We ordered their Texas house salad but got it a wrap. I highly recommend it. Dressing tossed with everything just hits differently. Very flavorful 10/10. My spouse got there ahi tuna rice bowl. Bomb! Flavor combination is phenomenal. We shared their famous clam chowder. Must try!!!

Service: it was our first time, and a Gentelmen approached us to ask if we needed help. The attentive that person gave us is what all restaurants must thrive for. The help and knowledge he gave us explaining the menu is what makes people want to try everything on the menu, lol.

Price. In total, everything was under $50 dollars including their homemade organic ice teas.

Was looking for a local healthy place to stop by for lunch and tired of the usual Simply Salad menu when I stumbled upon this place on google. Based on the reviews I decided to stop by. I am so glad that I did. The moment I walked in we were greeted like we were the Obamas! The owner spoke to us as we walked up to the counter, explained the menu items to us, and gave us samples. He was very personable in a way that felt like I was talking to someone who not only cared deeply for his business but us as his customers. The menu is large but not overwhelming. It’s just enough so that you try something and have something else in mind that you want to try the next time. Our salads were fresh, the dressings were unique, & DONT GET ME STARTED ON THAT CLAM CHOWDER. If I wasn’t trying so hard to unbig my back I would have gotten the stuffed bake potato. I will definitely be back and recommending this place to everyone I know. I wish I took a stack of their business cards, I would be passing them out...
