Enjoy authentic Hawaiian cuisine for a ridiculously low price. This classic plate lunch style joint serves generous portions of flavor packed food; it's no wonder this place has been in business for the last 60 years. Locals from the islands will not be disappointed in the least. Choose from a variety of local dishes. The lau lau is proper, as it includes the pork belly and butterfish. The chicken katsu is off the chain, but a request for the curry katsu option is highly recommended. The loco moco stay garranz fo' quell any kanak attack (sooouuu-peh!). Although they do not have the topping variety of places like Get Shaved or the new trendy milk-ice like Fluff Ice, they are still good at what they do. Just be careful because sometimes the girl packs in the ice too hard for me and it isn't as fluffy and light as I...
