normally I really do not like Moe's. I am probably two particular and too easily bothered by some things. It annoys me to no end when I'm trying to eat dinner and I keep hearing these people yelling: "Welcome to Moe's! Welcome to Moe's! Welcome to Moe's!" I like to eat my dinner in peace without people yelling all around me. I like the food but I cannot stand people yelling at the top of their lungs like that. I'm sorry it is absolutely idiotic. To begin with you are not fooling your customers, these people only yell out "Welcome to Moes!" Because they are told to do that by their employers. I do not feel any more welcome at Moe's any more than Denny's or any other restaurant. That being said, this was the one Moe's that I have been to where the people do not yell at that loudly. Ergo, I could eat my dinner in peace. It is extremely unfortunate that the management might possibly read this and actually be critical of his or her employees for not yelling this out at the top of their lungs. Ironically, this is the one Moe's restaurant I may very well go back to because the food is pretty good tasting and I don't have to listen to these people yelling this idiotic statement at the top of their lungs. If you really want to welcome people to your restaurant why not just instruct your employees to greet people with a smile and say hello. All my favorite restaurants do this, no one yells and hollers at Applebee's or Johnny Carrabbas or the Olive Garden or any other restaurant. So far as this particular Moe's goes the food tasted great and the employees were very friendly and courteous. They did a great job. If I ever walk in there and have to listen to people screaming this ridiculous statement at the top of their lungs, so help me I will turn around and never come...
Read moreNever been, the food was good and the portions are huge but. The bathroom was horrible, it looked like one at a concert, seriously. There was urine and toilet paper all over the floor and all of the trash cans were overflowing in the restaurant, you couldn't empty your tray. There were only 4 people eating inside (not busy) and the girl, i guess who was supposed to be cleaning was just leaning against the wall staring at her phone. People behind the counter were very friendly though. I mentioned the mess In the bathroom but never saw anyone even get a mop out. In response to the owner's response, we make a lot of passes through there this time of year and we already talked about making it our stop to eat place but we all agreed that if it's like that on the next visit, it will be our last. This was August 28th when...
Read moreMoe's closes at 10 pm. At 9 pm, when we went inside.. they were closing the Gardendale location. Couldn't get a refill because they turned off drink machine. All salsa put away. Chairs on tables. They were so mad we came in to purchase food, they purposely gave a pathetic portion of food! Got a refund and was asked the purpose of refund? When I explained how unwelcome and rude the servers were, everything was shut down..was told no one had came in for several hours so they were closing early! I will never visit this location again! If you are open until a certain time, then STAY open. If it's an inconvenience to work your allotted hours at a job, find something else to occupy your time! Chipotle across the street got our business. I highly recommend Chipotle! Nice...
