Wingstop — Restaurant in Gardendale

I had a really disappointing experience at this Wingstop location. I placed an online order, which said it would be ready in 16–20 minutes, but it ended up taking over 30 minutes. Not once did the staff greet me, apologize for the delay, or offer a simple courtesy like “enjoy your meal.”

When I finally received my order, the wings were barely warm and noticeably dry.

To make things worse, I went to fill my water bottle, and a staff member abruptly yelled at me, saying, “Excuse me, you can’t be doing that. You can’t fill your bottle.” I calmly asked, “Even water?” Another employee told her it was fine, and only then did she backtrack and say, “You can fill it, I don’t care anymore.”

The same person gave a girl 2 blue cheese dips just for asking

The entire interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Between the poor service, the attitude, and the quality of food, I won’t be returning to this location — or to Wingstop — for...

I was excited to see Wing Stop open in Gardendale, I was getting tired of driving to hoover when I wanted some good wings. I've been a patron of Wing Stop for over 20 years, started when I lived in Texas.

Wings are a good size, not like some places that provide really small wings. Sauces are tasty and not overpowering. If your concerned about a wait call in your order ahead of arrival. I don't mind waiting when everything is cooked to order and hasn't been sitting under a heat lamp for 20 minutes prior to your order.

Staff is friendly, Ok I agree there is a wait, but again, cooking to order does promise fresh, hot food. I don't think Wing Stop's intended for their business model to be a drive thru concept.

Good Hot Fresh Food Cooked to Order takes a little time. Not to mention the fresh cut fries. Not the frozen crinkly cut kind you get everywhere else.

If you're in a hurry, there's always McDonalds...

My family came to eat a late lunch on a Saturday, when we arrived there were only a few people in the dining area, we stood to the side to get our kids orders ready and the lady behind the counter told us it would be a 45 minute wait, we told her that is ok we didn’t mind waiting. We were still working on our order before we approached the cashier, while waiting a very rude man said “didn’t you hear, it’s a 45 minute wait” so I assumed they didn’t want our business. We left and went next door to Buffalo Wild Wings and were served immediately and with a smile. We will never come back to...
