Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Gardner

I’m giving this a 1 star because I ordered a pizza online and get a text saying door dash picked up your order and is on the way. The driver called me to ask if I needed anything special. I said no with a confused tone cause he told me I put down have driver call customer before dropping off order. Then a few mins later he called and asked me where I was at. I told him I’m at so and so and it’s apartment so and so. He told me there’s no apartment where he is at. He was giving me a full on attitude the whole time. He even had the nerve to tell me I’ve lived in this town for awhile. He kept talking and giving me an attitude. I told him don’t worry about it and cancel my order. Also I checked DoorDash and it wasn’t on there. So idk if it’s papa johns mistake or what. I’ve checked online where I put the order and my address is correct. I haven’t ordered Papa John’s pizza for many years now and I will most likely never order from there again. The total amount we paid was just slightly under $35 which included one large “the works”cheese stuffed crust pizza, delivery fee and a tip. The vegetable toppings were barely cooked, they loaded the pizza with onion which we did not ask for extra onions, very little sauce on the pizza, and the entire pizza had no flavor to it unless you like the flavor of onions. I always used to squirt the juice from the pepperoncini’s they used to give you with your pizza (which would have added some flavor) but I guess they don’t do that anymore because there wasn’t even one pepperoncini with our pizza. So needless to say, an undercooked, tasteless, overpriced pizza is what Papa John’s delivered to our door and we ended up throwing half of the pizza away. It was just that bad. Hi! I ordered Cheesesticks from you guys about two weeks ago for my hubs. Thank you for helping me with the delivery error and making it right by resending my order out. The manager helping me was professional and understanding. I’m not a huge fan of using Doordash but we will try using carry out or an employee directly from the store. I’m giving a 5 star for service and the food. Keep in mind, it’s a brand name chain and they followed protocol. The lower reviews, if one is wanting artisan pizza from a chain then this might not be the place for you. The prices are higher since everything is becoming more expensive so do the afraid to sign up for rewards or look up promo codes they have...
