Del's Wings N Things — Restaurant in Garfield Heights

Today, I ordered a polish boy combo, as I have done in the past, and it's always a toss-up on quality of food received.

Some days, it's hot, juicy, and crispy. Some days, today included, it SEEMS as if the polish boy has been refried as it it extremely dry. The ratio of slaw to fries is ridiculously low to non-existent, and if you ask for more slaw or less fries and more slaw, you still have to pay extra for slaw.

The cost of the combo has increased, as most things have, the problem is that the quality has also SEEMINGLY decreased. The wings were very small. I just think that for the added cost, if you know your wings are small this time, add an extra wing. The consideration goes a long way with customers. Dont just give me two small behind wings and a drier than dry polish boy and expect me to be a return customer.

This is my experience and my opinion.

I have called back and spoken to the restaurant on previous orders of this same combo, and their answer is extra sauce and slaw are extra. Well, I don't need EXTRA, I just want a polish boy with fresh fries, with an adequate/regular amount of slaw and regular sauce. Not dry and unpalatable. I tossed the whole thing after one bite as I just didn't have a debate in me about the food I was just sold.

In all, I would just like for the restaurant to be conscious of the quality of the product they are putting out. This is the last straw for me, I...

Never anything wrong with the service. Always fast, even if there's a slight wait... the food, however..

Today, I asked if I could have extra sauce on the fries of the polish boy. The answer was yes, of course. However, upon receiving the food, yes, there was extra sauce on the fries of the Polish boy, but the fries themselves seemed like they were recooked as they were old and hard. The Polish boy itself was hot but also overcooked. And there's hardly EVER enough Cole slaw on the sandwich. It's such a small amount that I'm starting to believe that they do that to force you to pay extra for more.

I am guilty of not going back nor calling after I noticed that I was unhappy with the order as I had driven off and was too far away to go back and I had other things to do and couldnt wait again for the order. It was not ready upon arrival even though I ordered it 30 minutes prior.

I took the fries off and ate what was salvageable of the polish boy itself.

The wings, on the other hand was awesome. Hot, fresh and crispy... with sauce.

Not sure if I'll be back, consistently...

I found this place about a month ago and I’ve been back 3 x’s already. So, obviously the food is delicious and fresh. Wings and sauce is just the way I like it BUT…..the young girl who always takes my order (I believe she’s the owners daughter) has the most TERRIBLE attitude!! Didn’t even say hi, can I help you, nothing! Just stood there looking at me. She barely wanted to speak and when she did I couldn’t hear her through the glass and when I told her, “ I’m sorry I didn’t hear you” she really got snippy and unnecessarily loud because she had to repeat herself. Then literally started mumbling something as she was giving me back my change! Never not 1 time was I rude or disrespectful n any way to get that type of treatment!! It’s a shame that the restaurant has to suffer because of 1 person’s unprovoked, NASTY attitude!! I wish I would ever go back there and spend money with her!...
