I ordered straight from Cristina’s website for delivery and spent over $40 with delivery fee and tip. I live under 3 miles from the restaurant. The restaurant assigned a driver from Skipcart to deliver the food and gave me a delivery time frame. 25 minutes after that time frame expired, I still had not received my food so I called the restaurant and was transferred to the manager. The manager said it was not his problem as the food had been picked up by the driver and I should already have it by now. I again explained that I did not have it and had ordered through his store, not uber or door dash or anybody else, and that I have no control over who they chose to delivery it. He said for me to come pick it up and I told him that I paid for delivery for a reason as I couldn’t come get it. I also explained that I paid a delivery fee and tip for the service. He then said it was not his problem and that he would see if corporate “might” refund my money. Not one time did he offer to resend my order to me. I said I felt like I shouldn’t pay for food and service that never occurred and he said I will “see” if I can get you a refund. About 30 minutes later the driver showed up wreaking of marihuana and only part of the order. It was of course now about an hour old and missing key elements of the order and it too smelled of marijuana. Honestly she was so high she shouldn’t have been operating a vehicle. While I will certainly never do business with Skipcart, whoever they are, again I will also never eat at Cristina’s again due to the manager acting like this was my problem when he received payment for food that was delivered totally inedible and lots of the order missing. His arrogance when Cristina’s hired the delivery person was...
Read moreOur server was very accommodating, and we love the outdoor patio, but the food has really gone down since our last visit a few years ago, and we were so disappointed upon our revisit! We used to visit from Florida, where we lived, to see our kids and grandkids in Garland, Tx., and loved Christina's. That was 4-5 yesrs ago. We recently moved here to be near family and were so excited to go back to Christina's, but the food is no longer fresh. Even the chips and "obviously" now canned Pico de gallo dips left a bad after taste you'd expect from a fast "processed food" restaurant. I got a brisket taco and it was very greasy with fried onions and peppers and little to no brisket, although thatbwas fine because the meat looked very old. And the amount of MELTED cheese was disgusting 🫣. My husband ordered the Chile Relleno, normally his fave, but he got nauseated just looking at what was on the plate. Tobsaybthe least we didn'teven eat the food and offered to pay anyway, but the manager was very kind and said not to worry. I almostfeel like the staff KNOWS the food qualityis now compromised, and i bet even they don'teat there....welp, looks like they need to reach out to Kitchen Nightmares and get some tips from Gordon Ramsey for a revamp...
Read morePlease read before you order any delivery from here. I love Cristina’s food most of the time but have not eaten at the restaurant for a few years. Since then we either get pickup or delivery through Uber (delivery) or the restaurant app (pickup). For the pickup, it is usually difficult, but not impossible to get the right food and drinks which can be a little longer wait. Uber has been more frustrating, with something wrong the last three orders.
Two orders ago wasn’t from this store, but the FM544 store close by. The store sent two of orders that belonged to someone else instead of my order. Last time no chips and salsa which I figured is complimentary so no big loss. This order, none of the beverages I ordered were included. And even more frustrating, I could have had a $15 discount for not ordering them. Glad they accepted my $50 Uber gift for XMAS :( Add the communication difficulties with drivers who at least 50 percent of which speak little or no English.
Really not worth doing business here anymore. Consider that probably everyone has a few decent Mexican Restaurants within a mile, and in my case within a few yards. Hope Uber and this restaurant can get their delivery foolishness corrected for...
