You guys need to stick with food truck business because the way you run this restaurant, you WILL be back to your old business. For us, we WILL not be back.
We came here on their soft opening around 8:15PM...waited 30 minutes before someone took the order. Food came out 2 dishes out of 3 after 30 minutes. The 3rd dish came out when we almost finished with the other 2. We noticed some other groups that came in after us got their food already including the family that we knew, but we chalked it up as their newly opened business and short-staffed...forgiven.
So us family of 4 came in today around 8:00PM to give them another chance, nobody greeted us...waited about 10 minutes...another family walked in and headed straight to the counter. The waiter almost took them to an empty table until we told them we came in before them, and they stared at us like deer in the headlight. 10 minutes in, and a waiter brought out the water and 1 menu for 4 of us to look at. The 2 waiters they have kept going back and forth bringing condiments and vegetables the kitchen forgot to include in the dishes and skipped taking our order but did take orders from other customers while being in their vicinity. After another 15 minutes wait, we flagged down a waitress walking by us, telling her we need to order food, only then another waiter ran to her and shoved the device into her hand so she could take order. Another 35 minutes wait, looking around and we noticed 3 groups that came after us just about finished with their meals, my wife came to the counter and asked why did it take so long for our food to come out and the manager (I guess) told my wife: BECAUSE WE ARE THE LAST TABLE. I stood up, slapped the table and we all walked out of this joke of a restaurant. It was 9:15PM.
We were not the only customers disappointed with the service of this place but while standing there waiting for someone to greet us and get us a seat, I could see some other customers sitting at the tables with a disdained look because they were having the same kind of service we're having....none. So if you want to get yourself pissed off while trying to have a meal, go ahead and try this restaurant with a food truck service, otherwise, go...
Read moreWe were excited to try Da Nang Quan, a new Vietnamese restaurant in the area, but unfortunately, we left disappointed. We ordered the dry noodle dish (hu tieu kho), and the portion was surprisingly small — just a few bites and the bowl was practically empty. For the price, we expected something more filling, especially compared to similar dishes offered at other local spots. The toppings were also underwhelming. The only protein was a few paper-thin slices of meat — so thin you could almost see through them.
We also tried the Da Nang fish cake noodle soup (bun cha ca Da Nang). The portion was better than the dry noodles, but the broth was bland. Nothing really stands out unfortunately.
Service was average, nothing memorable. Overall, the experience didn’t meet our expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend it based on...
Read morePlease don’t listen to reviews and give this place a try! They were a food truck, ran by a couple. And they just opened their restaurant. They just started their soft opening on June 26 and today 7/1 was their grand opening. We came at 6:45 and there were a few tables, but more tables came in at around 7. The owner told us its been so busy their staff haven’t had time to eat on some days. Food has been selling out and they are trying to catch up. And that’s with 5 people in the house. And a full team in the kitchen!
The food was amazing (as always) we ordered Bun Bo Hue, Mi Quang, and Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio. Everything came out in a timely manner! Staff were kind and welcoming! And the interior,, BEAUTIFUL.
The owners are working incredibly hard. Please give this family owned, passion fueled...
