Dickey's Barbecue Pit — Restaurant in Garland

From a ranch in Montalba, I was trying to feed 3 hungry men who had worked outside in this heat today. I called in my order and explained exactly what I needed, 3 meals, enough to feed 3 men. The young lady who took my order assured me with 3 slices brisket dinners, 3 loaded baked potatoes, baked beans for 3 men and barbeque sauce. She said this should be plenty to feed them. When I drive back to the ranch I had only 1 dinner. 1 roll, 2 potatoes, 1 tiny cup of beans and 1 teeny cup of barbecue sauce. I called immediately because the meat on the dinner was not enough to feed 1 child. This was the response I got. Well I’m sorry for the mistake I made , but you are welcome to drive back to Athens from Montalba to get more food, but you Will have to pay for it. I’m done. with this place and the rude service. She definitely got my order wrong after I explained to her several times that I needed food for 3 men. Dickies in Athens. Walking into this location both owners were sitting down towards the back of the restaurant! The message was on his cellphone. The wife got up and proceeded to the preparation area. Neither of them washed their hands. The husband was on his phone. The wife at least put on gloves. The husband came to help, but didn't wash his hands! I was the only customer.
