We have completely removed pop from our lives and have been trying to be more natural as possible with our intake. HTeaO is perfect! We mainly drink tea, water & coffee these days, so we frequent HTeaO for gallons of tea and cases of water. Their water is a reverse osmosis system and I compared it one day to other bottled water and theirâs is just so crisp! We love the teas. My boyfriendâs favorite is the mint and mine is ginger peach. I also love blueberry, coconut, and Texas chai occasionally. The staff here is really sweet. They always offer to load my water for me, other locations usually hand it to me through the window (which is fine, but I just want to shout out the extra mile they go). One time they accidentally gave me a peach cobbler gallon instead of peach ginger, I didnât realize it until after I was home and opened it. I wasnât personally a fan of the flavor but it wasnât awful either. I told them on my next visit that I had received the wrong item and wasnât a huge fan of the flavor, so they comped my next gallon for me when I wasnât expecting it. Great customer service is often hard to find but thatâs not the case here. Definitely give...
Read moreIt's a cozy yet spacious place that sells, of course, tea. Mindy and Colby gave helpful suggestions and were pleasant and enthusiastic about their product. My brother and I especially appreciated being able to try as many flavors as we wanted before deciding what to purchase. Tea is self-serve, allowing customers to mix flavors. The condiment rack includes sweeteners and complimentary wedges of citrus fruit. (For a nominal fee, customers could also add blueberries and other fruit toppings.) Gallons are available in the cold case, and staff are happy to create custom blends on request. The experience was so delightful, and the flavors so varied, that we left with two "Huge" cups of our new favorite teas and a gallon of the sweet raspberry tea. Prices were reasonable, and the choices of sweet tea, unsweet tea, and lemonade were impressive. Plus, there's a drive-thru! We found the tea to be a refreshing alternative to soda pop or coffee drinks. (And you know a place is doing something right when the customers just...
Read moreFinally made my way to HTeaO in Garland, a place I'd been eager to try for ages. The day I visited, the store was bustling with a good crowd, roughly 14 people, all busy sampling different teas. I decided to join in and sampled a few varieties myself: the classic sweet tea, a sweet tea zero, and the raspberry tea.
Though I wasn't up for a big drink right then, I was interested to learn they sold gallons for later consumption. I located the sweet tea gallons and chose one, particularly noting it was the only one labeled with today's date among the six available.
To make sure I picked the right one, I even confirmed with the cashier that it was indeed sweet tea. But when I got home, a good two hours' drive from Garland, I was in for a surprise. The gallon I had so carefully selected wasn't sweet tea as I'd thought - it turned out to be peach tea instead.
This experience was a real disappointment, especially since I had been looking forward to it so much. Giving 1 star due to the frustration over the...
