Good Vibes Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Richardson

Banned for others action in an adult establishment, excuses rather than admit fault, person who was booted as well tells me they have no issues when they walk in. Tried to reach out and am ignored not sure why.

Update: owner finally replies with nonsense after ive left him my number to understand why everyone who asked on my behalf was told they need special people to check the cameras? Also reached out on fb and still was ignored. Resorting to a ridiculous review. * Not sure why the cover story * I returned days later from night of the incident being told by bartender Brittney I got banned for smoking weed at the door (where there are cameras and a bouncer) everyone knows who actually did it still goes to that bar. I paid my tab, handing cash and left after getting my change that night . Also noted I had stepped outside for just a minute well within buisness hours, came back inside to hostility over a smell of weed I was not there to cause. I have a witness who was also struck confusion. And a witness that was with me when returning to be accused of an activity I do not engage whatsoever. Before anything else is insinuated, the perpetrator who was kicked out but apparently not banned was apologizing saying they forgot it...

Went out for an evening with the wife on Friday and wanted to try a new place. We were hoping for karaoke but they had a live band that night. Was surprised by the cover charge but maybe it was because of the live band? The drinks were very good and very reasonably priced! Wife wanted to try some new cocktails and they were happy to make them (some bars don't like when you order the uncommon drinks). They had pool and darts that we'll check out next time when we go back for karaoke night! Our server Rachel was top notch even though she had several tables to attend to!

Side note: A lot of reviewers are marking them down a star for allowing smoking, I wish I could give them an extra for it! The smoke wasn't even that much in there so I guess they have good ventilation and it's nice for a place to offer us smokers/vapers a place...

I went to play WSP (World Series of Poker) there, it's very nice place. I feel it's more a bar than grill, but the hamburgers, I would recommend, they were very good. The only thing I didn't like was, they are allowed to smoke inside, and it was very smokey. I reaked of smoke on my person afterwards, and in my car for several days.

Even though it's a great place to go play pool, poker, have a drink, and listen to live music, and the establishment practice social distancing and wearing mask, I don't know if I wood return again due to the inside smoking.

P.S. They ask of us poker players to promote the play of WSP at their establishment, which I've just done, but I also would like to add, if you desire more poker players to play there, I think your establishment would need to be smoke free, just a...
