Pee-Wee's Crab Cakes on the Go of Texas — Restaurant in Garland

There’s no place to sit so you must order and take your food to go. The idea is like a food hall. The issue is we came here as we love seafood and try various places around Dallas. We came here based on the reviews and it goes to show that you can’t trust high rated places with minimal reviews. It’s giving they’re bought. We were excited to try this place and when the food came it was completely the opposite. We waited about 25-30mins for our food and upon arrival it was not hot nor warm. The food was old, you can tell the crab had been sitting there all day. In the pics you can tell as the crab meat is dark. This is not acceptable. The shrimps were hard to peel off and they should come completely off when breaking the sell. When mentioned to the cook or manager (we were not given his name nor title) as we were explaining the issue regarding the food he disregarded our concerns as if nothing was wrong. 😐 this immediately gave us a red flag to get our money back and go elsewhere. The actual establishment to order food within was very compassionate and concerned. If we were to ever return it would be to try another restaurant from within. I would not recommend pee wee as service and food quality is major! Especially when seafood...

I purchased the Gentilly. When they wouldn't replace sausage with another meat... I should have left then. They gave potatoes and I was trying to support so here we are.

Pee-Wee's did NOT give New Orleans. New Orleans has flavor... not just added store seasonings after the fact. I can't recommend.

If you don't like Aunt Irene's, this place is for you. To the rest- just go on to Irene honey.

Side note: The lady working the counter in front has a great ooey gooey butter cake...

I've ate here 3 times although each experience has been different its at no fault of this business due to it being in a ghost kicken.. This is some of the best seafood I've had. Welcome to Texas and thank you for coming... I often get one of the potatoes and my son gets a poboy... it's the seasoning for me every bite has a taste. A good taste .. but I didn't like the devil eggs or the bread cause I don't like green onions or bell peppers... but them potatoes......
