My family has had a business in the Garland area for over 30 years. We've ordered almost every Sunday from the Wendy's off Garland Ave and for the last 3 years,the service has been terrible. The hispanic manager is always messing up orders and when her staff tries to correct orders they mess up, she becomes VERY rude and combative. This afternoon we ordered a nugget meal, a biggie bag meal, two salads and 2 drinks. Our only request was no cheese or ketchup on the burger...simple enough.That upset her. THEN I asked for light ice on the drinks then she told me I'm ordering too much and just drive around because she doesn't have TIME to verify our order. THEN she threw the food at me and also became upset when I asked for a drink carrier for all 4 drinks. Then she will ask you to fill out a survey to get free food, as if she's trying to forge good surveys with horrible sevice! Her employers ofte look horrified as they are trying their best to help people while also trying to appease their boss.We'll never go to this location again and it's quite sad to see this location go to the dumps over mismanagement. Read moreI usually love this place, the day service is phenomenal. Now that it is summer, the late night service is HORRIBLE. We arrived at 12:50PM and ordered a burger, the young man took the order. When we asked for large 🍟 with the combo, he said that they were "out of fries."
"Out of fries? Are y'all already closed?"
A young lady then came on and said, "Yes and by out of fries we mean we're out of everything." with a strong annoyance in her tone of voice.
Horrible.
Look, you took the job and you're getting paid. We all start somewhere. If the job requires serving until 1PM, that means 1PM. The owner makes money with the orders that you take and serve so that, guess what, you can get paid.
If no customers come in for an hour and you sit doing nothing, would you think it would be ok if you don't get paid for that hour?
No, you wouldn't.
If you're rude, guess what?
