HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT AND DRIVE THREW SERVICE. let me start off by saying I have the McDonalds app so I visited this location just this Monday on Oct.9th in the a.m I have a coupon that allows me to get a FREE MEDIUM MCAFE beverage with ANY purchase. That being said I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a Hazelnut Ice coffee. It was great. The coupon was good for a 5 time use. Okay, so I literally returned the next day Tuesday and the same drive threw cashier tells me I cannot get a Hazelnut ice coffee because it's not part MCAFE beverages (cafe=coffee) am i missing something here ? Long storey short I then ask to speak with the manager SHE even tells me I CANNOT GET A HAZELNUT ICE COFFEE BECAUSE ITS NOT PART OF THE MCCAFE BEVERAGES? Im so confused at this point and tell her how is that so and i was just there yesterday,no issues. So i left. I went to the location on Timber drive and they gave me a hazelnut ice coffee with the coupon for any mcafe beverage. Then Thursday i went to white oak and they giggled at me for even asking if a hazelnut ice coffee was part of a mccafe beverage? I got a Hazelnut ice coffee from two sperate locations with no issues. Read moreNot even worthy of the one star! Placed my order online at 10:18 am.. Arrived at 10:32, right as I pulled into one of the designated spots my order was canceled….? Went inside. Needless to say no guest service!!!!SUCKS! No one at the register taking orders… one lady that looked like she hated life at that point bagging online orders for Breakfast I might add never once acknowledged the eight people standing in front of her waiting to be helped. She could’ve at least looked up and halfway smiled and acknowledged and said someone will be with you shortly. She then walks off and starts waiting on people …still looking like she’s mad at the world doesn’t greet the waiting guest just stands in front of the register waiting for them to tell her what they wanted. During the whole time, one of the crew members who was in a yellow polo comes from the kitchen, serving food and eating at the same time. I stepped up and asked is there a manager available and the one that had been eating asked me what I needed and I explained to her about my order, and she said it was because I arrived at 10:32. Read moreI arrived at this location to see cars backed up around the building in the drive-thru. Walking in I was met with the same situation with people waiting angrily with their arms folded and receipts in their hands. I made my way to the self-serve kiosk to place my order. Upon completing my order, the receipt printed was blank. I then heard a woman mention to another that she’d been waiting a half hour and had been told by the man working the register to “wait a minute” with a finger waved in her face. This man was incredibly rude and charged with sarcasm.
A man who ordered and then went into the restroom came out to find that his food had been taken by another customer and only his drink remained. After asking the workers for his order to be remade, he proceeded to wait 20 minutes only to give up and leave as the order was not being prepared. The register worker then went on to argue with a DoorDash worker, claiming “I make more than you” and hurling insults.
I’ve truly never had an experience like this. Contrary to common opinion, I’ve never really had a truly bad experience at a McDonalds until this one. I will be filing a formal complaint with corporate to have this location investigated.
