Update 11/2/24: I was offered a free meal on the house and finally had the chance to take my family here tonight. It was actually my first time dining in at this particular restaurant.
The service was just slow and honestly…bad. St first the waiter seemed very prompt but by the end we had waited 10-15 mins for the check after we asked for it (and it was a ghost town in there). My partner had to go to the back and ask for it again.
Before eating someone came to discuss my critique about the lomo saltado, and they were very defensive. “Why serve a dish to go if you’re not going to do it right?” I was told that they know and the experiences are very different to go and dine in. I’ve ordered this dish to go dozens of times from other Peruvian restaurants, and this is the first place that never includes almost any of the sauce (which is what makes the dish). I made a suggestion of using a small container maybe on the side and he completely ignored what I said. He didn’t have to agree to it, but an acknowledgment would have been nice. My friend said that this place is similar to what you’d see on Gordon Ramsay kitchen nightmares in the fact that they seem too proud to really take any feedback.
The food itself was the only thing that was decent about this place. The owner didn’t even come out to talk to me which I think is pretty standard in a situation like this.
I really really really wanted to have a better experience here. Sorry I couldn’t write something more positive. 😔

Hopefully y’all see this cause I’m a frequent customer and would like to continue to be a frequent customer. —
If I’m being honest this place is mediocre at best. I always always always order the Lomo Saltado because it’s one of my favorites. Now the first few times it was fine, but I’ve ordered atleast 10 times in the last 1-2 years, maybe more. Since the first few times it’s just been sad. One of the best parts about Lomo Saltado is the extra sauce/marinade that’s in the dish that soaks into the fries, but after the first 2 orders they started putting basically zero sauce in it. Now when I open up my box the fries are bone dry, and the lack of the sauce/marinade or whatever makes it a super bland dish. Hell, the fries don’t even look cooked. I loved this place cause their Lomo was the closest to what I usually eat…and now it just makes me so so so...
Read moreWe had the Ceviche Appetizer, Lomo Saltado and Chicha Morrada. I’m Peruvian and from Miami and I’ve had these dishes plenty of times in my house and in restaurants.
Food - Peruvian food tastes good, always has. However the price ($22 for a plate of Lomo Saltado) is a bit egregious, there’s better options. They did also, run out of drinkable water somehow? The table next to us has water and haas refills but we didn’t.
Service - Waiter was horrible, he was too busy talking to his coworker and sitting down on his phone in the back behind a plant to even know we were here. He gave us our appetizer without giving us utensils and didn’t even say a word and just brought it back later after again, being on his phone for a bit. As I mentioned earlier, they ran out of water, which should’ve been communicated earlier when we sat down since we ordered spicy food, at least we ordered Chicha so that we weren’t thirsty, they should’ve communicated they ran out of water earlier. While mentioning the Chicha I also have to say that the waiter forgot to bring it, he forgets utensils, doesn’t talk or even say hi as he drops stuff in front of you. You might as well have one of those robots that the chef puts food on and then drives itself to your table. At least the robot wouldn’t have an attitude.
Atmosphere - Unwelcoming and basic
Ultimately, go to a different peruvian restaurant, this place sucks and they don’t want...
Read moreWent with the wife to give this place a first try. Ordered a couple Chaufa's and waters with lemon, and was told by the waiter that their restaurantis famous for their chaufa. About 8 or 9 minutes go by and a party of 6 comes in. Another 10 or 15 minutes go by and we notice the party of 6 gettings beverages brought to their table before we have received ours. Another few minutes go by and we finally get our water but without the lemon. Another few minutes and the party of 6 begins to receive their entrees. By now we are appalled at the service and growing increasingly impatient. We wait a while longer and the rest of their food comes out and is brought to their table. At that point we just got up and announced to the waiter that we were leaving as he placed the last couple plates on the table for the party of 6. This place is not so big that 1 person couldn't handle the few tables in there, not to mention the 2 guys "serving" the customers. Not sure if there was something about us personally that caused such poor service but we definitely won't be back. We can't comment on the food because it was...
