Yesterday, around 6:10pm EST, we visited the Bojangles on Franklin Blvd. in Gastonia, NC. As we pulled up to the drive through, we were very impressed by the "pull up" experience from the digital menu to the point when we got to the spot to place our order.
Google indicates that this location does not close until 9pm EST. We waited at the intercom for someone to take our order. After about 3 to 4 minutes of waiting, we spoke out saying, "hello, hello". A young lady finally responded stating that they were closed. We replied by letting them know that signs and Google state that they are opened until 9pm and there is NOTHING posted stating that they were closing early.
She said she was sorry but due to staffing issues, they had to make a decision to close early.
Our recommendation: If an establishment is going to go against what's advertised, at least offer the "professional courtesy" of letting your customers know in advance. Post it, so that your not inconveniencing the public by wasting their time and energy on wondering what's going on. 🤷♂️ Not doing so can be very BAD FOR BUSINESS regardless of...
Read moreBest Bojangles I ever been to. And I have been to a lot of them in 4 or 5 different states. Super modern and clean on the inside. They don't have all the food laid out like a cafeteria like 90 percent of the Bojangles. They have a window where you can watch them make biscuits. You order your food and then sit down, they bring it to your table. They also bring you your drinks, no self serve. I was asked multiple times if I needed a drink refill or anything else. Really polite workers and they seemed happy. Not sure what the management does different here, but they should be well paid and every manager in the Bojangles system needs to spend a day here and learn how they do it. Actually had nice music playing and you could actually hear it and not someone screaming out orders to the people in back. I will be back here even though I have to pass 3 of them on the way there. Thanks for making my meal so...
Read moreWhen I pulled up to the drive thru, a robot greeted me and took my order. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese biscuit meal and one Bo berry biscuit. When I pulled up to pay, the worker asked me to pull forward and she’d bring my food to my car. I sat there for 35 minutes waiting on my food. I then walked inside and was told they were waiting on Bo rounds. Does it really take 35 minutes to make these? When I received my food, my “biscuit” was on a bun. I brought the food back and the lady said “I heard you order a biscuit through the drive thru and not sure why it registered as a bun”. Maybe if you used real workers and not robots you wouldn’t have this problem. I’m giving 3 stars because the food was great once I actually received my food and my order was correct. I’m not trying to tear a business down, but there are definite ways this branch can improve and I hope the owner takes this as...
