Peking Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Gastonia

Walked in this restaurant to pick up an order for DoorDash as I am a Dasher/Uber Eats and the cashier(lady) knows that because i frequent this place, she told me it wasn’t ready so I wait 5-10 minutes and notice there’s an order sitting on the counter the whole time I’m there but I didn’t think anything about it as they were busy. 15 minutes go by, I’m still waiting and that order is still sitting there. 20 minutes later she says “oh who are you here for” knowing she already knows she says “it’s right here” and asks me to confirm. Now, to go out of your way to be petty and tie up MY time and money is ONE thing but to TIE up a CUSTOMERS time, money and FOOD from YOUR establishment being cold all so I will get bad ratings is BAAAAAD business practices. You need to do something about your front-end cashier as I’ve already heard so many complaints about her attitude, now this?...

I used to eat here every weekend and spent about 30 to 40$. Well i found a better Chinese restaurant off new hope and i love their food. I had to go here yesterday do to everything being closed for the holiday. For 1 food is more expensive. 2 they add water to the beef and broccoli and 3 wayyyyyy to much ginger in beef and broccoli. Beef and broccoli is supposed to be very light sweet and salty kinda taste. Oh and my roommate and fiance got sesame chicken and got double the rice that i got and the one running to front put steamed veggies with liquid in it with all of my egg rolls and by the time i got home my eggrolls were swimming in that juice i bought 4 extra and couldnt eat them cuz they had to go swimming. We found Peking Garden recently because my mom wanted egg foo young and this was one of the few places we found that serves it. Since then we have been several times, both eat in mostly carry out. She loves their pork egg foo young! It's very good and very generous portions. I always get pork lo mein which is delicious. *One time I tried the orange chicken on the recommendation of other customers I spoke to. I didn't know what to expect because I'm not familiar with that dish. The chicken was a little tough and it was too spicy for my taste.
