Candys Cheesecake Shoppe — Restaurant in Gastonia

We decided to stop in here on our way home from the scheile museum when we were craving something sweet. My s.o. loves cheesecake so when I saw this on Google maps I knew we had to go there. When we walked in we were greeted by a friendly young woman who apologized for the limited selection. We had come in about 50 minutes before they closed and they were close to being sold out by the time it was our turn in line. We got 2 peanut butter balls and 2 small cheesecakes. Everything was so yummy!! I'm really picky about my baked goods since I'm also a baker and these passed the test by far! I want their recipe tbh because it was off the charts good. The texture was light and creamy and there was just the right amount of sugar. Everything was fresh and homemade. I live in Charlotte but I'll definitely be making trips back to Gastonia for this...

I’m from Atlanta happens to stop by accidental had the mindset thinking it probably taste Averaged. Boi was I wrong, This place the cakes taste like heaven sent. I was so impressed when I ate my slice, I had made it over the Border I wanted to turn around & go get another slice but I knew my freight was on a time schedule candy sweets almost made me risk it all, I wanted to say forget that freight I needed more cake! Everything I've tried has been amazing - I LOVE cheesecake and this is definitely some of the best. All of the different flavors I've tried are great and I'd love to try some of the more specialty flavors. Lots of fun cheesecake flavors!
