The service and atmosphere has gotten worse and worse over the past 6 months. I’ve had an employee horse playing while carrying a crate of glasses to the bar and drop the whole crate breaking the glasses! The broken glass went all over me! I was standing at the end of the bar area waiting on my order (over 30 minutes)! No one apologized for the incident and acted as if it was ok that I had just been soaked with broken pieces of glass! Whenever I Order online or over the phone, I Go to pick up order 30 minutes later after placing order. The servers ignore the waiting customers who ordered online or over the phone and continuously say they will help you. After waiting over 10 minutes they will say your order isn’t ready. This has lead to a 30-40 minute wait each time. My order has been wrong 6 out of 10 times my last 10 visits. The last time I visited I sent my daughter to pick up the order. It was not right AGAIN! Not to mention how they’ve started to give the orders out with the bags soaked in grease on the outside. I asked them to remake the whole order because I had to take it back after she arrived home with missing crab legs in the bags. The manager had me on hold on the phone and when I arrived at the location I was still on hold waiting for the manager to let me know what to do. Long story short. The food that was remade caused the entire family to wake up with SEVERE STOMACH CRAMPS AND PAIN!!!!!! It was really bad!!!! It was stomach pain we never experienced before! Obviously something was added to the food to cause the stomach cramps. This was the last straw for me! I’ve always enjoyed the food and this is why I had so much patience with the unprofessional service and atmosphere! The service has became very bad and they were constantly leaving food out of my bags, yet I tried my best to overlook these issues ! Once or twice is a mistake. Multiple times…, is clear negligence. It’s the REPEAT CUSTOMERS who keep businesses IN BUSINESS!!! The owner my need to supervise his business/employees before too many customers have bad experiences. FYI… CHECK YOUR SEAFOOD BAGS!!!!!! Read moreIf I could give this place negative stars I would. We arrived at 6pm and the restaurant was mostly empty with just 6 or so tables occupied. One of the two hostesses said that it be 5 or 10 minutes so the waitress could clean a table. We politely said no problem and proceeded to wait...THIRTY MINUTES! A group of 4 came in about 20 minutes into our wait and were told 5 or 10 minutes as well. They were seated 5 minutes later while we continued to wait. Eventually the hostess went to a table, flipped over the paper covering the table from the previous guest and sat us. The table was NOT cleaned in any way and they didn't even have the decency to put fresh paper on the table, they just left the dirty paper with the previous guests dropped food, spilled drink etc. What struck us as even more frustrating was the table we were sat at was exactly the same size as the table the 4 people that came in after us were sat at (which also wasn't cleaned that we could see). The waitress came by 5 minutes later and said she would be by soon and proceeded to take the drink order of the table behind us that had been there for at least 30 minutes because they were already sitting when we arrived. We waited yet another 5 minutes and decided to leave considering it took at least 30 minutes for a table to even place a drink order and we wanted to eat sometime in the next week. For most of the time we waited to sit, the waitress was standing around carrying on conversations with other employees and goofing around in full view of other patrons and the hostesses chatted it up like there was nobody there waiting to patron their business. Having a break is fine and, especially in the restaurant industry, they're very necessary but taking a break in full view of guests while they've been waiting for an inordinate amount of time for a table in an almost empty restaurant is bad for business. I will never go to this restaurant or place a to-go order and I would advise others do the same unless you enjoy waiting the same amount of time it would take to fly to Dutch Habor, get on a crab boat, find crab, catch crab, deliver crab, cook crab, fly back,...
Read moreThis was a terrible experience overall. First off, we were told to leave a good review on Google and our appetizer would be free- which is not okay, but one of the people with me did before the fiasco of our dinner began. For one, we waited over an hour for our drinks, which didn't arrive until we reminded the server that we had ordered them when our food arrived (also an hour later)- and when my glass of wine arrived I was told it was short because they were out of it, but that they'd check if there was more. There was never a follow up on that, and I wasnt offered a different choice for less than a half glass of wine I received. I also asked for a refill on my water and never received it either, it had been empty since before our food came out. The food was okay, but 1/2 the mussels were closed on the dish the people I was with ordered, and mine wasn't anything overly impressive. Next, the matter of the bill came. We were informed that our server (Xxan) had messed up and had accidentally charged our food to another table. Instead of ringing us up properly, she decided to try and comp out the table that had paid for ours to "make it even". At this point I asked for a manager and was told she "got this" and received an "accurate" check. After I handed her my card she informed me it was going to be $2 more for some indistinguishable reason and if I didn't pay the $2 it would come out of her pocket and that I wasnt paying for the drink anyhow- I wasn't planning on paying for the less than half glass of wine regardless, as I was not served an actual glass or offered a different option. When we checked the bill for the people I was with nothing added up properly either. It was a mess. One that a manager could have easily fixed, had she responded to my request to speak to one. I could understand if the place was busy, but it was practically empty. I also am sympathetic to a server having an off day, but they way we were charged was completely wrong. I will be calling tomorrow to speak to a manager, I'm not okay with being overcharged and given a runaround...
