McDonald's — Restaurant in Gastonia

My fiance and I ate at this location yesterday and the restaurant itself was filthy it hadn't been cleaned or swept in hours they were napkins all over the tables in the floor the restrooms were consistently unstocked and a mess with some of the employees utilizing the facilities for 30 plus minutes as well as the food being subpar typically cold every time I've ordered from there with flat drinks and the staff there are almost as bad as West end McDonald's and Gastonia they are unfriendly unhelpful and always treat you like you're a burden they are slow they consistently Miss up orders on multiple visits I've made and upon my last visit we're making derogatory remarks about individuals and customers that were in the store going as far as saying they refuse to use the restroom behind them because they were just dirty people even though there were customers in there eating they didn't try to hide it they were making fun of the local homeless people that may come in there to buy a drink and a sandwich when they could and we're highly immature this attitude was from the entry level employees all the way up through management and they have always been rude and unfriendly and act like when my fiance and I order or eat there that is just a hassle to serve us. We have attempted to contact a district or regional manager with no luck and as the store managers are part of the problem are no help. The only contact info is a form on the website which if like other places will be an apology with no change. Our only recourse at this point is that and contacting any news agencies that will listen as being derogatory and unprofessional is not acceptable in the service industry. They get paid more now than a lot of skilled jobs, but their service and attitude is at the worst...

Decided to take my daughter to McDonald's to grab a milkshake as a treat. I was using the mobile app with the buy one get one free deal. Pulled up to the menu board and ordered one vanilla and one strawberry shake, this was about 9:30 at night. The young lady on the other end said she would have to check and see if they had any strawberry... I've never Heard that before, but that was fine another vanilla would be okay. Couple of minutes later she came back and said they did have strawberry and completed my order. We pulled around and paid and then pulled up too The pickup window... Young man in the window hands me my two milkshakes. And then tells me they don't have any straws! ... What?... He repeated they did not have any straws. I asked him how I was supposed to drink this milkshake without straws and he told me they had spoons... It really caught me off guard I've never heard that before. I looked at him and said I don't want these things if I don't have a straw. He repeated that he could give me a spoon. I looked over his shoulder and there were a containers on the counter with straws in them. I pointed to him and I said there are straws right there on the counter. He turned around walked around the corner came back and handed me one straw. There were two milkshakes! And one straw that I was told they didn't have any of. I just kind of smirked and drove off. Went to the top of the hill to a gas station and walked inside and got a straw from one of the slurpees. Give me a break here.

Worst experience ever! Took five minutes to get the woman behind the counter to unlock the door so my granddaughter could go to the bathroom. The bathroom smelled like a litter box that had not been changed in three weeks. It looked even worse. Placed our order through the kiosk Two milkshakes one small fry did not get a receipt. They told me to take a number and have a seat they would bring my order to me. My granddaughter played in the play house that they have insight, not one table in the entire place like it had been wiped off in six months. After sitting there for about 30 minutes, I went up to the counter to see what was the issue with our order and if they had to hand make the ice cream or if they had to grow the potatoes for the fries only for them to inform me they do not have ice cream Then they asked me if I would like something else after stood in line once again for 20 minutes when I told the lady no, I just wanted my money back she asked for proof of my purchase. I handed her the number 30 she looked at the piece of paper in her hand had my receipt but had me pull up a copy of it on my bank statement! The workers there are about as rude as a rabbit cat and a wet dog in a fight with a dinosaur that’s been on PMS for the last three years I would’ve left a negative star but i that’s not a possibility. Worst experience ever at a fast food place I will never ever go there again and I suggest that you don’t go there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
